3 Hour RAW is a disaster, right?
I find it very difficult, to borderline impossible, to just sit down and watch a 3 hour RAW as it happens.
I ignore large chunks of the programming and very rarely make it to hour 3 still invested into the product.
I'm clearly not alone. Hour 3 has had fewer viewers than either hour 1 or 2 for I believe 26 out of the past 28 3 hour RAWs.
3 hours is just too much! If a movie is over 3 hours long, it is said to be an exceptionally long film. If a musical group releases over 3 hours of content it almost always a 3 or 4 CD box set and could realistically be the output of a decade or longer.
I think the concept of "SuperShow" makes Smackdown feel less special and unacceptably bloats RAW's run time.
Furthermore, the claims that this extra hour would give more time to the undercard and Divas is laughable. It simply has not happened. An overwhelming portion of the overall roster doesn't even make RAW, much less contribute on it. The Divas still have 90 second "matches." The same matches happen again and again and again. Cena/Ziggler happened 4 times on RAW in 5 weeks, same result every time, and one of these wrestlers isn't even on the RAW brand! Same matches, same results, not even with RAW people. Fuckin' ponderous.
