Re: 500 days of Punk?
I honestly think that the whole "It's so obvious, they're going Rock/Cena 2" crowd is going to look stupid
i just think it would be an epic swerve, and as Mick Foley said in a promo before cena vs punk #17464857 punk needs one more moment to cement his legacy. and beating the rock at RR would be a huge moment and could make him a "superstar" doing the thing that cena couldnt do. plus could emphasize his current BITW respect angle.
I agree. As much as it may make sense from a business/money standpoint, it just seems too obvious and telegraphed if they were to go that route. One thing I *could* see possibly happening is for Punk to retain at RR by cheap tactics, lose at EC to The Rock, then setting up a triple threat at WM with Rock/Cena/Punk for the WWE Title. It's much better than Rock/Cena for the WWE Title because everyone and their uncles' monkeys would know who's winning that one.
