His ring work is great, mic skills are decent also. When he moves on from ADR to someone more talented, he'll put some 5 star matches, I'm sure, given the right opponent.

Re: Del Rio - Dat Pop

It's not rocket science that a Hispanic wrestler gets a loud pop in areas with large Hispanic populations.
If they had Wade Barrett with the title in England you'd get an even bigger pop.

That said his form since his face turn has been pretty good, so he deserves some credit.

Yeah, im expecting WWE letting him use german suplex frequently again, also better top rope moves and flashy jumping stuff like todays fight

Re: Del Rio - Dat Pop

I love face ADR. One of my favorite wrestlers on either brand right now. His mic work needs alot of work. I think if they keep it simple for him it could work.

As for the pop since it's a recorded Smackdown it's probably a little piped in but I haven't got to see this weeks Smackdown yet. I'm looking forward to it.

Re: Del Rio - Dat Pop

The report said his entrance pop barely existed, but when the guy was in the ring he got good reaction.

Undertaker is a selfish, arrogant, broken down old has been who can't give it up, who doesn't give one shit about the next generation of stars and helping the company that made him thrive. It's always all about him.

As an ADR fan, I've been saying this all along. Heel or face, he's just awesome.

Re: Del Rio - Dat Pop

I said this in another thread, but I feel it applies here since it pertains to the reaction:

2) The win came during a stretch where WWE is stopping in Florida, Texas, etc... essentially Southern cities with more of a Latino fanbase than places like, say, Minnesota or Cleveland. They may have been hopeful that Del Rio could get a warm face response in front of these fans (which he did), and hope that this kind of treatment follows him as WWE tours further North, away from the friendly audience.

Just my theory though.
