I totally agree with this thread. Everyone is expecting Orton to turn & that kinda takes away its impact when it happens. Also, even though most of you think Orton is completely stale, IMO he can still be revived without a heel turn if they just give him some of that tweener-like edge he had in 2010, put him in a proper feud & bring back the punt kick. After all, his character has hardly changed since 2009, he's still (kayfabe) a vicious psycho asshole who has never smiled, high-fived fans or kissed babies.
Sheamus, on the other hand, CANT be given any edge, because his character is a corny nice guy who always smiles and kisses babies no matter what. They could have kept him badass at the start of his face run, but now it would basically amount to a heel turn if he stopped smiling and cracking corny jokes.
I know I'll get a whole lotta heat for this, but Sheamus is the one who needs the heel turn most. He's gone soft beyond repair. Back in 2009/10, he was a great heel. His brutality was almost unparalled, remember how he killed Jamie Noble?

At the same time as being a monster, he was also an asshole who always took the easy route out yet gloated about how dominant he was.

Sure, he was booked like shit , but his character was 100 times more enjoyable, and the only reason I like him right now is because of what he was back then. Indeed, it would be great to see him go back to that monster/jerk combination instead of turning Orton heel without changing his character much.
Sheamus is anything but a natural face. It's simply not believable that a huge, scary man like him would go around smiling, kissing babies and cracking Cena-esque jokes. Ever since he turned face, his promos have all been unnatural and forced. When he was a heel, he was actually decent on the mic.

Now compare those promos with this one:

Sheamus is better as face, but someday they decided him to be Cena's SD with the comedic promos but they put Sheamus on another level of corniness.
^This, basically. I don't agree that he's better as a face, but the rest is exactly what I'm talking about. He was still badass when they first turned him face and had him feud with Mark Henry, but they completely ruined him by putting a big ol' smile on his face 24/7.
