What would it take to make Smackdown a better show?

I believe that bringing back the brand split and booking the WHC more seriously would drastically improve the show.
Thoughts?

If WWE plans to de-push Cena (which is sort of taking shape right now), draft him to Smackdown.

Go back to when Heyman was writing for them.

-End Supershow.
-Let World Heavyweight Championship main event some of the PPVS.
-More storylines and proper feuds.
-Stop making repetitive matches. I swear to god we've seen Barrett vs Orton million times last year alone.

Re: What would it take to make Smackdown a better show?

If Smackdown is it's own brand then why not have it that way? Smackdown has to do things differently than Raw. One of those things could be mentioning TNA, and rekindling what WCW/WWF had during the Monday Night Wars. Granted both TNA, and Smackdown air at two different times, and on different days, but who cares. I would love to see a twitter war break out with Smackdown stars, and TNA stars. I would love to see either star from either show talk trash on one another. Basically TNA vs WWE Smackdown War. What do you all think?

RAW storylines should continue on Smackdown.

And Smackdown should be live.

Re: What would it take to make Smackdown a better show?

  • End RAW supershow

That's pretty much it, for a basic yet huge change. Other things follow like good booking, and forming a good roster, but those are common sense investments that run over time. Smackdown needs to stand alone again, it needs to have its own stars and its own identity. Because right now, their superstars are showing up on RAW to convince people to watch them on Fridays... and they're doing that by showing them the exact same thing they'd see if they did choose to tune in. I don't know who thought that made sense, but it kind of doesn't.

Dropping into RAW once in a while is no problem, but I don't see why it can't go back to what it used to be: if you wanted to know what's happening on Fridays, you'd have to tune in.

The expansion to three hours mean that the Smackdown side are actually needed to fill the show now though, so I doubt we'll be seeing this happen. Which is a shame, really. Smackdown was made a great show by its talent, and it seems like it's kind of gone to waste now.

People would look to the sky and see...hope. I'll take that from them first.

Let Barrett and Sandow dominate it with the WHC and IC titles.

New - Episode 77: Best Movie Spies

With trailers dropping for Spectre and Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, now's the perfect time to talk best movie spies. Also we get into news of The Avengers: Infinity War, Deadpool, X-Files, Lex Luthor and more things probably! Thanks for listening.

I'll try to make it realistic.

Give Team Rhodes Scholars a talk show, it'd be great and it'd cut down on all the Miz TV's.

I'd love to see Wade Barrett get a World Title push but right now that's just not gonna happen.

This exactly BUT don't forget to bin the fecking "from the vault" those matches last like 10-15 mins AND "RAW rebound" which lasts about another 10 mins of the show omfg the show must last like an hour if that ?
