It entertains me. I mean not EVERYTHING entertains me, but enough does to keep me watching.
Exactly. No matter what show people watch, I'm sure there's some stuff on it that don't like. Whether it be a character, or a storyline or something.
The fact that there's 5-6 hours of main WWE stuff on a weekly basis(not including the "C-D Level shows") makes everything magnified. 10% of bad things on Raw today would equal about 13-14 minutes(since without commercials,Raw is about 130-140mins) 10% of bad things on a standard 1hour show would be about 4 mins(since 1hr shows last around 40-45 mins)
So there's much bigger chance of less entertaining stuff on a 3 hour show. Other than WWE(and not including sports), the only other thing people ever see that lasts 2-3 hours are movies, and those are completely different in its ability to make people sit for 2-3 hours. So when the only other 2-3 hour thing people watch, is a 100M+ budget movie, it makes other things seem not as good.
For me at least, I watch cause I still like watching. Many people here sound like they're being strapped to a chair and forced to watch WWE each week, but I watch cause I like it. I've been watching for over 10 years and while I know now isn't as good as around other times in WWE, I treat it like a sports team. WWE is "rebuilding" meaning there will be slow periods, but it'll be great again, and the inbetween period still has it's moments of great stuff.
Won't it feel much more rewarding in the future when you see WWE being real great again, knowing you stuck around even in a lesser time. Attitude Era seemed like a bandwaggon era for WWE. They gained lots of fans when it was popular, but the second it started being less popular, people stopped watching.
