You know wrestling has turned to shit when they have to turn the camera away when Santa gets "hit" by a fucking car. The car was going like 12 miles an hour and they play it off like he got fucking destroyed on the highway. Honestly a pure travesty, it's to the point where I feel like we can't even have heels because they can't be vile enough by this new PG shit. Awful, just awful. And don't tell me "don't like it don't watch it" because I tried to watch the Christmas episode, first episode I tried watching since 2010 when I joined here and I had to turn it off immediately.
You quit watching in 2010 and then decided the Christmas episode
would be a good episode to try again? One out of 2 yearly episodes that are going to be extremely high on the fuckery scale? Bad move bro. Try next monday, THEN decide. Just my opinion.
As for the rest of this thread, I won't tell you "if you don't.." since that's obviously BS. If you love a show but don't like the direction it's going in all the more reason to voice your opinion but to keep watching all the same. No one likes a quitter.
What I WILL say is that I feel like especially the people that have watched this for years on end (I'm a relative noob personally, took a decade+ long hiatus due to lack of availability to watch) are sometimes so set in their ways of what they think the product should be like that they make it impossible on themselves to enjoy the current product, but then put all blame for that solely on the WWE.
Me personally, I LOVE what they're doing with the US titel reign right now after Santino being the epitomy of a non-fighting champion for months, it's really refreshing. I LOVE the increased air time for tag teams. I enjoy the current Ziggler stable picking up, I enjoy the shield segments, I enjoy Punk's title reign, and hell, I'll say it, after literally feeling sick to my stomach every time he came out during his run as a face, I currently enjoy segments with The Big Show. There it is. Boom.
The only thing I can't seem to enjoy is things involving John Cena, but I fully realise that's just me not liking the guy and his mannerisms. All in all though, I think the product has picked up tremendously since Raw became a 3 hour show, and I haven't been this excited about a RTWM in years. So I don't even remotely hate WWE right now. I am enjoying it tremendously, and look forward to any and all surprises they might have in store for me.
