Sgt. Slaughter vs Antonio Cesaro?
No, I don't think they should have a match at all. However, I think Sgt. Slaughter should take exception to what Antonio Cesaro said. I feel as though Slaughter should tell Antonio that he knows he can find an American to defeat him, and declare themselves worthy of a title shot. The idea is that Slaughter would bring in multiple talents in which Cesaro would completely own. Guys like Heath Slater, Zack Ryder, and others would lose. Then, Slaughter tells Cesaro he knows he found the one, and that he no longer fears defeat as Cesaro would suggest. Slaughter says that he is going to train this man so well that he will be unlike anyone he has ever faced before.
Vignettes would air showing Slaughter screaming, and yelling at this person whom we can't see ever because it's always raining, and dark. The idea is to never show the face of the man. Let it remain in mystery until it's time. Having vignettes showing a man training harder than the best Marine (kayfabe), and putting honor before pride. The training has to look vigorous, and intense. Sell the idea that Slaughter isn't playing around anymore, and that winning his nations title is the most important goal of this man's life right now, and that Cesaro should be afraid.
Make the mystery man in the vignettes look intimidating always training in the shadows, or under harsh weather conditions. Have the vignettes deliver the notion to the viewer that this man is strong, fast, and determined. In the end of the final vignette his face is exposed, and a man wearing a mask is shown taking it off to reveal Jack Swagger. I think it would be a great way to set up a real feud with the two men. It starts off with Slaughter desperately trying to find a way to have Cesaro lose his title, to an epic return for a former WHC. It all relies on how well the vignettes sell the notion of this person that Swagger is revealed to be later on.
