As a wrestler? no fucking way even if a bunch of haters would nitpick on his ring work the dude is one of the best on the ring... now as a entertainer? with people like Sheamus, Tensai or Kofi Kingston here he still isn't the most boring.

Undertaker is a selfish, arrogant, broken down old has been who can't give it up, who doesn't give one shit about the next generation of stars and helping the company that made him thrive. It's always all about him.

No he obviously isn't.

Sometimes I think some people dislke him for racial reasons... they just can't take that a Mexican is a better wrestler than 90% of the roster.

A mark for:

No one, for the first time in my life there is no one in the main roster I give two shits about.

All time faves:

Bret Hart, Austin, CM Punk

I'd like to see him tried out as a tweener/anti-face. I think he could thrive in such a role.

As of now, his act is stale, his promos are VERY boring, his gimmick is throwaway and his in-ring work is top-notch.

Give him some character tweaks and he could be a true player.

Re: Seriously, is Del Rio the most boring wrestler of all time?

I like Del Rio and don't find him boring. Is he amazingly entertaining and ultra charismatic? No. I think he lacks the ability to do a ten minute promo that holds the audiences full attention which is a problem. It's simple to solve, if he hasn't got something really important to say don't send him out there just do a one minute backstage promo from a hot tub or while he munches on caviar and Ricardo gives him a foot rub.

Anyway it doesn't matter which wrestler we discuss there is always a group of people that claim they're a bad worker or bland. Even the greatest legends often get called over rated.

I partially agree with this. But if there's anything on here that I disagree with you on, it's the "his matches are boring" part. While I'm not exactly very fond of him, I actually do enjoy his ring work to a certain degree (excluding his beyond awful matches with Sheamus this year). He's produced some well-worked matches with Randy Orton in the past month. For me, his ring work is his only redeeming quality. Aside from that, he bores me to death.

To answer your question op, I find Alberto Del Rio to be vastly boring, but I wouldn't go as far as calling him "the most boring wrestler of all-time." I don't even see how I can call him the most boring wrestler today when guys like Brodus Clay, Jack Swagger, The Great Khali, Tensai, etc all exist.

He's a good technical wrestler but yeah he's pretty damn boring.

He's overall the most boring wrestler in the current WWE. I think it's a bit of a stretch to say most boring wrestler of all time when there's still Lance Storm.

Re: Seriously, is Del Rio the most boring wrestler of all time?

He's rich, but we don't know how. We never see him do anything with his money, apart from presumably pay Ricardo and rent Astin Martins.
The fundamental problems are how and why and what? How did he get the money, why did he become a wrestler and what does he do with the money?

His first month or so of vignettes made a very pointed effort to put this idea in our minds: Alberto Del Rio is a cultured, well read, well traveled man who went to the finest of universities. He's an aristocratic and intellectual egomaniac. Everything Sandow and Cesaro have been doing ADR should have been doing. It is an entire aspect of his character just missing.

Three, they set him up with the destiny thing. The thing with the destiny is, once it is fulfilled it is hard to stay interested and emotionally invested in the character. It was his DESSSSTINY to get some accolades and be WWE champ. So he made Rey tap (in his debut, no less!), injured Matt Hardy and Christian, forced Edge out of the company, won the Royal Rumble, won Money in the Bank, proceeded to make at least half the roster tap to him (many of these being squash matches) won the WWE title (twice) and worked PPV main events for the company's top title with the company's top talents. So...Destiny accomplished. In spades In about 11 months. OOPS. Now you give me the green light to never care about him if you don't develop his character beyond a tremendously successful destiny fulfillment.

Also, isn't a guy talking about his destiny, having a hard time achieving and finally achieving it more of a story arc for a babyface? Why should I be interested if ADR fulfills his destiny? His character is shallow and a bad guy to boot. I could see people loving to root against a Successful Heel like say, a dynasty in sports like the Yankees Evil Empire or the L.A. Sex Crimes but....

ADR isn't fleshed out enough as a character and doesn't have the history and the backstory of doing crooked, sinister things and repeatedly fucking my favorite wrestlers over. The person who could honestly pull off the "I'm So Successful and You Can Suck A Dick If You Don't Like It" heel run is...

John Cena.

Edit: I want to talk a little more about this "destiny" thing. Here is an idea...ADR is a gambler and a lunatic one at that. He is a paranoid schizophrenic with the most frayed connection to reality while still being able to function. He amasses a fortune for the sole purpose of being dominant in the WWE and the "destiny" thing could have consumed him and slowly but surely took him from a suave but mentally diseased man to a deranged, bloodthirsty terror hellbent on getting "karmic retribution" and visiting "misfortune" on people he deemed to be thwarting his destiny. You can just say DESTINY 1000 times and make it a very important part of the character and do nothing with it.

He is one of the most boring wrestlers the WWE has ever seen. The only two interesting things about him are the cars he comes out with and Ricardo.

Dashing no more.
