Re: Damien Sandow interview w/ Soscia

I marked at that line too, as a huge gamer. I can almost guarantee Sandow is a gamer in real life, a lot of the wrestlers seem to be and he's young enough that he would've probably grown up on them. Hell, even Big Show is a gamer, so that shows you how popular they seem to be with wrestlers.

Now, I just REALLY want to see Sandow watching Angry Video Game Nerd reviews and acting horrified as the Sandow character. I can almost picture it in my head and it's just.....amazing.

Episode 90 - New Spider-man, Terminator & Arkham Knight

What a week for all the things we talk about! A new Spider-man, news on a solo Batman film, Suicide Squad and Star Trek (Track). Plus we get into Batman: Arkham Knight and what we sort of remember from all the Terminator movies. Thanks for listening!

Re: Damien Sandow interview w/ Soscia

WWE hasn't stalled him. He beat the IC champ clean and isn't even going for the title. WWE see big things in the guy.

He enjoy his act a lot, but personally don't see him as a future main eventer. The hard part for him will be if he can change things up if his gimmick gets a bit stale.

agree. He seems to be enjoying the gimmick. But I also don't see him becoming a main eventer yet. He is to do some real character change for that because this gimmick seems too cartoony imo.

So having a heel who has a fresh and unique gimmick which is actually entertaining means he cannot be a main eventer? He should become a cowardly heel and therefore become more generic and then people will buy him as a champion? Despite the fact that his current gimmick actually suits him perfectly and by changing it you'll probably take away his most distinguishing attribute? Undertaker being a "dead man" is fine though, right?

You don't have to be a main eventer to be entertaining and have a decent spot on the show, Daniel Bryan is proof of that. Damien Sandow will be in the main event, that much anyone can be sure of, stick him there now and he will be ruined. Sometimes I think you want your favourites wrestlers to end up as a nobody.
