Simple really. When he was getting cheered over Sheamus, Vince wasn't having it. The 18 seconds was supposed to have the opposite effect. Probably thought that i sticking him a comedy tag team would reduce the reaction alot. But it didn't.

Re: Vince and the Officials treatment of Bryan

I felt that they had no faith in him the moment Vince mocked his size in that backstage segment back in June. Then they turned him to a joke in that Punk feud by making Punk indestructible and having AJ make a fool of him.

Re: Vince and the Officials treatment of Bryan

I honestly think Vince holds resentment towards him for being more over than he should be. Vince was probably massively embarassed that Sheamus Title win and the entire Raw show the next night were overshadowed by Bryan. Sure, he'll make his money out of YES and NO, but he did that with Zack Ryder merch too, and look at him. Bryan is not a "chosen one" He's like in between a Jericho role and a Christian role, a "good hand" that will get rewarded with a few World Titles, but essentially a guy who can be used to help get up and coming main eventers over.

What baffled me mostly was the fact that Raw is 3 hours long, an absolute drag to sit through, yet they send Daniel Bryan and Cody Rhodes out there, two guys who have really good chemistry and have had many great matches, yet only give them 2 minutes.

This "weak link" crap has completely run it's course though. Bryan beat Kane at Summerslam too, which makes it even dumber to portray him as the weak link.

Re: Vince and the Officials treatment of Bryan

A - WWE are shitty bookers

B - They never intended to make Bryan a Main Eventer, because what WWE sees in a Main Eventer is a big guy. Bryan's not big. Thats why despite the fact that "The Ryback" is not the total package (like Bryan is), WWE pushed him first since he has the look that they want. Look>everything in WWE, even if there's no mic skill to accompany it.

I'm not necessarily mad he lost....but 2 minute to Rhodes?

Can't we watch him wrestle at least. Does it do any harm to give 10+ almost every match?

Re: Vince and the Officials treatment of Bryan

I'm not freaking out. Kane got a win over Sandow, so Rhodes needs to have a win over Bryan. Not really a fan of Bryan losing a lot but he is the Tag Team Champions and one of the most over stars on the roster. If he can survive losing to Sheamus in 18 seconds at WM 28, he can survive anything.

Fan of Daniel Bryan,Seth Rollins,Dean Ambrose,CM Punk,Brock Lesnar,Antonio Cesaro,Randy Orton, Kazuchika Okada,Shinsuke Nakamura,and Minoru Suzuki

Oh give me a break. Win & loses don't matter. No one will remember these matches 2 months from now.

Surviving as a midcard comedy act playing the weak link in a go-nowhere comedy tag team wrestling 2-5 minute singles matches where he loses while his partner wins is not even using 5% of his actual ability.

I do have one question for anyone who might feel that Dwayne Johnson "owes" the business. Is it just him, or is it anyone who moved on to other things? Should Luna Vachon get heat for running a towing company instead of working on RAW? Should Maven be critiqued on his Home Shopping Network bits instead of wrestling?

Or is it only the ones who go on to highly visible careers in movies that owe something? Why do Johnson (who left after putting people over, doing the traditionally "right thing") and Lesnar (who did not; except for making Eddie a legitimate star) get called sell-outs who "forgot where they came from" when someone who retires to do some regular job get credit (as they should) for moving on and making it without falling into a sea of addiction?

Good, then job out Ryback to Big Show in 3 minutes clean because he's over and wins and losses don't matter.

Vince will never take Bryan seriously, he's just too small.
