Ryback causes half the fans in attendance to leave during his match in England

7) In the main event, Ryback defeated WWE Champion, CM Punk via D.Q. I have never seen so many people leave during a WWE main event as happened here. Whether this was a reflection on how people views Ryback, or because the kids were so young that families wanted to beat the traffic, or if it was late, who knows. But other than the 'Feed Me More' chants that people liked to do, people didn't seem as into Ryback as I've seen them get into other non-John Cena main event babyfaces over the years. Granted it's a recent mega push, and these things take time to catch on. It doesn't help that Ryback is such a limited worker though, and this really wasn't a good main event match. Punk tried his best, but there's only so much Zbyszko-like stalling he can do. Ryback no-sold a bunch of Punk offence. Punk tried to go for the GTS, but was clotheslined to the outside. Ryback charged at him, but Punk dodged him, and Ryback ran-head first into the ring steps. Ryback beat the count and joined Punk back in the ring at the count of 9. Ryback powered up and levelled Punk with clotheslines. He was going for Shellshock when Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow hit the ring for the cheap D.Q. The heels triple-teamed Ryback and tried to use a chair on him, but Ryback broke free and made his own comeback, getting rid of Rhodes Scholars, then giving Punk Shell Shock to finish the show. Ryback's music played, and he paraded around the ring afterwards, but over half the crowd had left at this point, and it was kind of sad to see.
RyIdrawasgoodasIpickpeopleup strikes again.

I'm calling bs on this, dont belive it for a seceond, and most of all how would he know they "left" and even so they have been to pelnty worse things there before and they did not leave.

I've also noticed when they say "half" they mean about 20

This is exactly why they can never show a British show live. The crowd are not as stupid as the American crowds, they will chant everything and anything. They need the few hours delay so they can edit out any vulgar crowd chants. But if the crowd is walking out during a match? That would be astonishing if that happened on Mondays Raw event.

Re: Ryback causes half the fans in attendance to leave during his match in England

Was this from the MEN show last night? If so then I'm not surprised. WWE has a habit of poor time management and putting the main event on around the time that the show needs to finish for people to be able to catch their last train home. I've had the same thing happen to me in the past when I went to a live Raw taping there and they put on a post-show dark match between Barrett and Cena and I had to leave as the match was starting to make sure I could get back home. This was when Barrett was being given a huge push and I was a massive fan of his, so the fact that people left during Ryback's match gives very little indication as to the fans feelings towards him and says more about WWE's time management and pacing of the show.

Re: Ryback causes half the fans in attendance to leave during his match in England

1. This was a House Show 2. Beating the traffic/crowd rush is something that a lot of people do when its about getting the last train home. Must be mainly dads who are bored out of their minds at this point, and get their whole family to leave (slightly) early.

Anyway, inb4 someone blames this on Punk, not Ryback...

I mark for (right now):

William Regal
CM Punk
Mike Quackenbush
Dean Ambrose
Cesaro
Daniel Bryan
Paige
Bad News Barrett

Infinite marking and endless love for:

Eddie Guerrero
Larry Sweeney
Macho Man Randy Savage

This would be correct.

Nothing to see here in this thread just a way for someone to try and bring Ryback down.
