I FUCKING LOVE zigler, way better than sheamus, but I honestly seeing him having a terrible, short title reign unfortunately. Wwe has been dropping the ball with him lately.

How long you give his title reign? Im saying 2 months the most

In theory, beating 7 other men in a ladder match should be a great way to get a midcarder over as a maineventer. But it's everything that follows that is the undoing of the guy. For starters, cashing in on a downed Champion is a heel tactic which limits things and even though it's no been going THAT long it's already very over-done. Plus WWE seems to have a habit of jobbing out the winners prior to their title win, which makes no sense to me at all. They basically seem to go out of their way to make the guys not seem credible as main-eventers.

I honestly hope they don't give him the belt at all, and not because I dislike Ziggler. I'm just sick of them giving an obligatory title run to every talent that makes it's way up the ladder. The wrestler should be getting the title because they are already over as fuck not receiving title reigns in order to get them over further, because in that regard Ziggler isn't even close to where he needs to be.

Gotta agree with Tyrion Lannister, he'll have a lengthy title reign, but won't do anything noteworthy.

I say his booking has been worse than Bryan's.
Bryan took some loses and appeared on Superstars but at least there was a story behind it.
Ziggler just takes loss after loss and on top of that has failed multiple times to cash in.

booking worse than bryans? Obviously, b/c bryan is being booked pretty solid. Unless you're talking about Bryan's WHC run, which was pretty awful.

Ziggler wont have a lengthy title reign. Theyre going to use him as a transitional champion until they find a suitable guy to hold it.

His reign will have the same symptoms of most heel title runs in this day-and-age.

-He will be constantly shown up by the face either physically or on the mic
-He will run away from a fight like a coward at every opportunity
-He will have a side fued with the GM wherein he never wants to defend his title and is only forced to
-He will somehow have a good showing at the PPV and actually win 1 (or 2)
Since he will be feuding with Sheamus:
-He will have to stand there looking insulted as Sheamus stumbles through some terrible goofball promo
-He will take a brogue kick at least once every show
-He will still be treated as a heel even when Sheamus does some asshole thing like steal his car or assault his defenseless manager (though, this not being the attitude era, I doubt Sheamus will attack Vicky)

Won't be any worse than the two current world title reigns.

At least there will be the perception he could lose the title at any time, which makes the matches more interesting by default. So long as it's not just over after a single Sheamus rematch, it should be interesting.

It will be the same garbage reign with most heels. He will never once look credible. And I dare say he won't be champ longer than 2-3 months. There's no way in hell he's going to be in a WHC match at Wrestlemania, so he'll have to grab the belt soon. I'm sure he will have dropped it by WM time.

Hopefully it will some how be shorter than his 10 minute World title reign.

But to put my dislike for Ziggler aside, I just hope he don’t win the title at all and once again not cause I don’t like him but cause they are seriously devaluing the title with having the wrestler just look like a total joke before they officially win it. All this constant jobbing Ziggler doing is pathetic and he is losing for no reason, there is no storyline behind it at all (like someone mentioned earlier with Daniel Bryan). Now if he wins the title I am suppose to take this fool seriously and think he is legit? hell no, he is a main event jobber at best.

The only wrestler that had tremendous built/booking from the MITB was Edge.

Going on recent heel reigns:

He will win the title only after Sheamus has been totally destroyed by someone else (thereby making it look like he cannot even win with the MITB advantage on his own)

He will be a chicken-shit heel who in no way is Sheamus' kayfabe equal

He will pose no threat to Sheamus at all

If he does retain, he will do so in a way that does nothing to put him over, such as winning by DQ after Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick after the move is "banned" or something similarly stupid (re: Ziggler's fist WHC "win")

His feud with Sheamus will not develop or strengthen either man's character

Because of all this, surprise, he will not be very over as champion. WWE will then determine he doesn't have "it" and bump him down to jobber status.

Repeat with new up-and-coming heel

Hm, just thought of this scenario. What if Dolph enters the Royal Rumble match still the holder of the MITB briefcase, he's one of the two people that starts the match off. After several close calls, Ziggler ends up winning. Following the match he picks up his MITB briefcase, but shakes his head before leaving It at ringside.

The next week on Smackdown he 'throws' the briefcase in the trash and says that he doesn't need It any longer because now he has a championship match for Wrestlemania where he can win the title in dignified fashion.

The months leading up to Mania Ziggler is booked as a babyface and begins to gain the love and admiration of the WWE Universe. At Wrestlemania he comes up just short in a 20 minute grueling match which sees him come so so close to winning. Then...

As he goes to leave the ring in defeat, he looks under the ring and pulls out his MITB briefcase. With a sadistic smirk on his face he re-enters the ring and smashes the case over the champions head before pinning them to become the new World Champion!

The next week on Smackdown he'll be full blown heel talking about how he had his 'back up plan' all along.

I think this would be pretty cool, not sure what anyone else thinks though haha.

i was thinking that too and im pretty sure that he will get screwed out of his title run

This. The fact is, Ziggler's mad skillz in the ring would work to put him over way more as a face than a heel. Like John Morrison but superior in every way.

The best idea I can imagine for Ziggler is to have Big Show fight dirty (e.g. a low blow / weapon while the ref's back is turned / he is unconscious) to beat Sheamus then become the champion. As soon as Show wins he is beating the snot out of Sheamus with a chair, the belt, Singapore Cane, whatever.

All of a sudden out of the crowd Ziggler jumps into the ring, sneaks up behind Sheamus, the crowd is suddenly going nuts, he pulls off the Zig-Zag on Show, gives his briefcase to the ref, pins Show and become champion. Show is out cold and Ziggler looms over Sheamus who is groggy/confused. He then grabs Sheamus, helps him up and carries him out of the ring.

BAM! Instance face turn and we have this decade's version of HBK to look forward to. And Big show loses again in ~45 seconds, lol.

I think pretty bad and short.

Sheamus is probably going to feud with him. I mean this is the formula WWE has always used, MITB winner comes down steals the title from the champion, the champion is pissed off and demands a fair fight or 2 or 3 or 4.

And I mean how exactly are they going to book Ziggler being able to retain against the man they've made into Super Sheamus 3 or 4 times? They probably won't.

If I remember right, Ziggler already won (or was handed) the WHC that didn't even last a week when Vickie had banned the spear but Edge used it. In fact, he only won it to setup for Edge to take it from him on the 600th Smackdown. People thought that Christians title reign was bad... Zigglers was worse.

Two years later and they are still using Ziggler the same way. When Ziggler does cash in for the title and IF he does win it, what are the chances of having Sheamus boot his Zigglers head in and win it in only a couple minutes on the first Smackdown that they can have the rematch? WWE has totally failed on building credibility on Ziggler.

Oh and I agree, get him away from Vickie. They have teased of Ziggler going on his own several times but never stuck with it. DO IT.
