Re: SPOILERS* Sandow loses. Cue marks saying burried
It didn't do him any favors.
Not to mention it was pointless, why can't they just tell the simplest, most effective story in the book, ref gets knocked down, Big Show comes through the crowd and WMD's Sheamus, rolls Sandow on top of him, Sandow wins, Sheamus loses nothing, it furthers his feud with Big Show and makes sense with the earlier segment where Big Show walked out, not wanting to face Sheamus straight up, the next #1 contenders to the tag titles pick up a lot of momentum and everybody comes off better for it.
No, let's have them get Brogue Kicked at the same time for no reason, because that's completely logical. They need stars more than ever and their solution is to take a scenario where it makes NO sense for the established guy to win, and have him win. This is the fundamental problem with WWE, more than PG, more than Linda, more than whatever else. Absolute refusal to do anything about the star problem they have.
They can have the WWE Champion, the REAL top champion taking a clean loss on tv, but the secondary one can't even take a massively tainted one? Just goes to show you what can happen when you fuck the guy running a good chunk of the company.
The only good thing about this is that his first loss was to the champion and not RyBack, or some midcard afterthought who's underneath him.
Episode 95 - Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation (The Roguiest One Yet?)
Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation bloody impossible missioned itself into cinemas over the weekend so we get into that. Plus news of three Star Wars TV series coming to Netflix, Fantastic Fourís very late review embargo, the Channing Tatum Gambit fiasco and more.
