heh, not even austin watches raw, and on top of that, twitter rants are hilarious, they are pointless, he should've appeared in raw like he was supposed to, he didn't, shut up instead of resorting to twitter stupidity
I don't want to see Austin vs Punk. I don't want to see Austin vs anybody really. The guy is old with a broken neck & bad knees. He also hasn't wrestled in 8 years. Punk is alright in-ring but nowhere near good enough to carry Austin in a match. Its a recipe for horrible match.

If Austin vs. Punk is being planned, I hope they save it for Wrestlemania 30. Rock vs. Cena at Wrestlemania 29 will hugely overshadow Austin vs. Punk, and Austin vs. Punk needs to have the majority of the spotlight.
Though, having Austin vs. Punk and Rock vs. Cena at Wrestlemania 29 could make this Wrestlemania one of the better ones. Even still, I doubt Austin vs. Punk actually happens.
Let's not forget, you're talking about the same Austin that took his ball and went home 10 years ago only because he didn't want to lose to a guy who Rock already lost to few months ago.
No, he walked out because they wanted him to job to Brock on free tv with no build up. It had nothing to do with losing, he's said he was willing to lose, but in a serious program where the loss would matter, do big business on a PPV and be more effective in putting Brock over. They were pulling political games on him and wanted to send him a message, you don't treat a guy who took your company to new heights that way.
No way in hell Austin would come back and agree to being a second fiddle to Rock/HHH/Taker/Cena/Lesnar.
I should hope not. If he won't, the match won't happen, because there's no way Austin is main eventing over Rock (among others) and there's no way Punk is main eventing over Cena.
I don't think that's the point if they had to feud. Austin will have some on Punk for 2 weeks and Punk will have some on Austin for 2 weeks. This how it should be booked, but it's not gonna happen anyway. I think they will just have one promo appearance.
People who are interested in the 'promos alone', please recall the excitement when we found out we were getting Jericho / Punk, and how awesome the promos were going to be.
Sometimes what's great on paper just ends up mediocre, and it's a letdown.
After watching this I realized how great of a "Wrestling" actor Stone Cold Steve Austin is, and his character will simply never be matched. CM Punk is solid, but I hate to say it, he isn't on the same level as Austin is, even now.
just watched the tapings from last night. thats 4 weeks now i've heard cm punk bring up the name stone cold steve austin. i wasn't convinced about punk vs austin at mania but i think its now nailed on. what do you guys think ? each week more fuel gets added with the statement punk made last night that austin cant save jr. also that his now 3:16 himself. the rock is gonna kick his teeth out and then austin at mania im well up for this.
It's build for a POSSIBLE dream match. It's always on the table if Austin wants to come back, but judging from the surgery and his schedule next year, there is not much time to build this properly. Nothing is "nailed on".
