hulu plus vs. broadcast tv - what was cut out?

i normally download wrestling cuz i'm a dirtbag and for some reason xwt's release stopped playing during the second kane/bryan diner segment on my dvd player(which plays avi files). i tried it on my media box too and it stopped on the same exact spot. i saw the ad for wwe on hulu plus and i happened to be a subscriber. i resumed from where i left off on my download, but on hulu plus it says it's only 90 minutes. the full broadcast was 133 minutes. why would they do that and what did they cut out?

http://www.pwinsider.com/article/722...cable.html?p=1

Quote:
First, Raw on Hulu is only 90 minutes instead of 3 hours. Here are the segments that were skipped on Hulu: The backstage segment between with AJ and the referee, Dolph Ziggler vs. Kingston, the first diner segment with Bryan/Kane/Dr. Shelby, Prime Time Players vs. Marella/Ryder, the backstage segment that sets up the 6-man tag match, Wade Barrett vs. Tyson Kidd, the entrances to the 6-man tag match, and the divas tag match.

OK, so they took the best match off of the show, but gave us John Cena's embarrassing, fake swear words promo. Yay for us.
looks like i'll be the dirtbag that downloads as well until they air the full show

So, they cut the best match from the show as well as the most entertaining segment of the show.

Brilliance personified.

Don't people have to pay for that too?

Just watch it online on youtube or something. TheScore(canadian tv station that airs WWE) airs it for FREE on their website

Re: hulu plus vs. broadcast tv - what was cut out?

wow, i guess i'll have to keep downloading it. they cut out the best match of the program? that makes sense. why would we actually want to see a decent wrestling match. i like any aj backstage segments too so that i have to see and those kane/bryan segments are gold to me so why cut any of those out? wwe is really poorly run. how about doing something crazy and just running the full show on hulu plus you fucking idiot vince. it's a pay service for crying out loud. piracy community makes the whole show available for free while $7.99 gets us 2/3 of the show with many of the best parts cut out. great plan. i actually assumed they would do something crazy and cut out the worst parts, but they obviously are just randomly cutting out parts that don't involve the top storyline with cena/punk. fucking dopes. what's sad is i have hulu plus and like the service, but have to continue downloading wwe tv cuz it's run by morons.

Don't care to watch a 3 hour program and left the cable dinosaur behind ages ago. 90 minute Raw instead of overly long 3 hour padded show is perfect. It'll take a bit to get the cut perfect but ill stick with that.

Re: hulu plus vs. broadcast tv - what was cut out?

it's not 3 hours vs 1 1/2 hour. raw minus commercials this week was 133 minutes. that was the full broadcast. so it's really about 133 minutes vs. 90 minutes with random stuff edited out(some good and some bad). best match of the show and two talking segments i cared about were cut out. wade barret, a pointless 6 man tag, and the divas i agree with those cuts. cutting anything aj, daniel bryan/kane, or a match like kofi/dolph is just plain stupid.
