The man is more interesting than at least half the roster, which admittedly isn't difficult.

I'm sick of watching him get buried every single week in pointless matches. Get him a bloody storyline and let him do something, he has a magical thing called charisma which is in short supply around the W these days. If he was booked to be able to say more than 5 words a week and then get squashed he would be very entertaining and a nice break from *serious face* I want my title back blah blah blah *interruption* blah blah blah *AJ* Lets make this a triple threat match.

He's not being buried every week in pointless matches, he's being kept relevant by featuring him on tv in these matches. The fact that he's losing doesn't matter, they're already heavily featuring him on their product, there's not really much more you could ask for apart from a meaningful feud or a title run/chase.

Because he's the hero the WWE deserves, but not the one it needs right now...so, we'll job him out, because he can take it. Because he's not your hero. He's a great dancer. He's an air guitarist.

He's the One-Man Band.

Jobber/comedic role suits him best.

Because he's THE perfect jobber. Annoying character, horrible look, horrible voice...etc. He's the perfect guy that you want to see get the shit beaten out of the them by superior talents. He's not really that talented anyway honestly; it was entertaining to see him getting squashed by legends every week, but that doesn't mean he was suddenly going to get pushed, it just meant he was getting more exposure as the jobber he deserves to be.

People forget that wrestling a job. Not everyone could be World Champion. Success in the industry isn't based on how many titles you win or how many matches you win. Success is based on how well you do your job. Heath Slater's job is to:

1) Go out there and get the fans to boo him
2) Put over a guy
3) Also look good in the process so that fans could continuously boo him

He does his job to perfection. Wrestlers and the fans often forget that pro wrestling is just a job. World Champion, Us champ, Mr. MITB they're all imaginary brass rings. They're part of the job. The title is just handed to you. So what if you've never Vince McMahon's imaginary brass rings? What sense does it make if you're a US champ or worse yet WWE champ and every week you walk through the curtain, there crowd is dead silent?

It's better to be the stupid jobber who gets cheered or booed than to be the World Champion who can't even garner a reaction. Because it means as a jobber, you've succeeded. As world champion, you failed to do your job. At the end of the day pro wrestling is all about he fans and getting them to love or hate you.

I don't ever think he will be WWE champion. However I do feel like he could be a serious heel talent for Smackdown. Slater, not Heath Slater would be a solid fresh start for him. Heath Slater isn't bad, but I feel like if he just called himself Slater it would go over easier. He should snap one live Raw, and the star on the receiving end should be his former NXT Pro, Christian. He makes his 15 minutes of fame just fans can take him serious.

Christian goes over on him, but the positive exposure is there. Slater says that he is pissed that Christian's advice got him no where, and he blames Christian for not being at the top of the food chain in the WWE. A simple story that gives both men something outside of a title. Slater gets the feud with a former WHC, and loses. He, and Christian work solid matches for a month, or so. After his loss Slater starts his search for a tag team partner.

I think he's gold. He should get a US title run where he wins via dq, luck or some other debauchery, like Bryan's WHC reign. They can still have him playing a jobber role, making everybody else look good, but with the belt he'll actually be doing this while furthering a storyline.
