Interesting article on WWE.com about Cena and the NWO

Does this perchance mean they might bring it back sometime soon? Probably not with Cena in it but still thought provoking as to what they may be thinking just in general terms of creating a stable, hopefully with Heyman and Punk.

O really doubt it, specially with Cena involved in it.

Articles on wwe.com have no relation to what happens on TV.

Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett in a stable.

Re: Interesting article on WWE.com about Cena and the NWO

WWE.com articles are made by journalists who don't listen to Creative meetings, so are aboot as educated as us in the going-ons of the WWE. Therefore their articles don't foreshadow TV.

This. The only time I saw an article predicting anything was when they said that Del Rio would win at Hell in a cell 2011. I would love for the NWO to return, but it's not happening.

Thank You, Bryan! 2009-2016

I believe our anger for the current product stems from the idea that it has so much potential and it's not living up to it. The reason we keep watching is to one day see if it will reach that potential or a level near it. We don't necessarily want the Attitude Era to return, but we want the excitement and the crave to watch more and the need to see what happens next which the Attitude Era brought us.

Re: Interesting article on WWE.com about Cena and the NWO

I've heard rumors of a possible NWO return, but I hadn't considered the thought of Cena being in it. The article makes a point, redoing the NWO faithfully would require a heel turn of someone the stature of Hogan. I can only see Cena filling that position, especially since Punk has already turned. In fact, last year when he was being booed so much, it always reminded me of when Hogan was booed in WCW. Except that Hogan did the right thing and turned - he did what the fans demanded, unlike Cena. Unfortunately, I've long given up on Cena turning heel.
