Do you all think Big Show violated a Wellness policy?

He's missed four consecutive Raw AND SmackDowns. And at first I thought he may have been relocated to Jobberstars, but he's not there either. WWE doesn't just take wrestlers off T.V without there being an explanation. After he lost at SS, there was some exclusive interview saying he got double teamed and he wanted another shot at the title, so its just awkward from him to disappear out of the blue like this. Not to mention even if creative didn't have anything for him, he could still be coming out in sqash matches and knocking them out to make his dominance continue. So I think he violated a policy, and WWE respects him too much to let it surface on the internet. I gotta say, I miss seeing him knock the shit outta people. Your thoughts?

Nope. If WWE owned up to Orton failing a Wellness test they'd definitely do the same for a guy like Big Show. My guess is that he's banged up and they're just giving him a little time off.

It would be announced on the website. He's probably taking time off, relax.

There's some news floating around stating that he'll probably feud with Sheamus now, so I guess he'll be back soon. Maybe he is taking some time off after that Australian tour.

Re: Do you all think Big Show violated a Wellness policy?

With Cena feuding with Punk and Sheamus feuding with Del Rio for the last month, they had nothing for Big Show. They want to keep him a main-event level heel, but they didn't want to have him bury anyone at NOC, so they just kept him away. I'm sure he'll be back on Raw or Smackdown next week to interfere in a Sheamus match.

Current Favorites: Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Brock Lesnar, Big Show, Dean Ambrose
All-time Favorites: Kurt Angle, Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker

Not removing until Big Show becomes 10-time WWE champion.

Reportedly he is in Australia doing promotional work for the company. Most likely they are just keeping him off TV until a main event program opens up. Show doesn't need to be on TV each week squashing people without a purpose to regain his monster status. One angle could regain anything he lost. I don't know the plans with Sheamus but if they decide to hold off on Ziggler I could see Show coming back to work a short program with him.

If he did, it would have been announced on WWE.com

Re: Do you all think Big Show violated a Wellness policy?

No, he worked the Australian live events because he's mega-over in Australia, and he's continued to do promotional work for WWE there.

His quiet departure from the product is just the yearly "Big Show taking some time off to heal and rest from the general wear and tear of all of the years of wrestling," like last year's break that was storyline-dictated with the Mark Henry-induced "injury" at Money in the Bank.

Frankly, I'm thrilled he's gone right now. They had completely run out of material for him, and now he can rest. I hope he doesn't return until after Hell in a Cell. Still looking forward to Ryback/Big Show in 2013, though.

No, not unless eating a shitload of hamburgers would count as a Wellness violation.

In all seriousness he's just taking some time off TV. I'm sure I read somewhere that Show has an annual rest period stipulated in his contract as he's a little banged up these days. If he'd been suspended for a Wellness violation, it would've been announced on wwe.com.
