Punk: "You are the WHC and that makes you second at best" Yeap, seems legit. :D

WWE should change the name of the title. Or just remove the "world" status of the title (similar as the ECW Championship in 2008).

The World Heavyweight Championship sounds great. It should be on par with the WWE Championship. Right now the title is closer to the IC title. :(

People are overreacting here. Punk's character is he believes he's the best in the world, so naturally, he believes the title he's holding is the best one.

There was no 'secret message' behind it. It was just Punk being in character.

Of course the company title will be the main priority. As far as Vince is concerned, the WWE is the only real wrestling company in the world anyways.

Why are people complaining? You're afraid the casuals will be clued in that the WHC is second best? I think anyone with common sense could tell by the way that the WHC opens PPVs and the way that the WWE belt is constantly referred to by everyone in the company as the most prestigious belt that the WWE champ > WHC.

They should really merge the belts because they're not fooling anyone by pretending like they're equal. One company; one main event champion. I don't think many (or any) people are buying house show tickets to see the WHC.

I agree with this. I want them to keep the brand split, but there should be only ONE top champion. The WWE Champion should be the top champion of both RAW and SmackDown: the best of both brands. People say they need two World Titles because of the house shows, but if Cena can headline RAW and PPVs without a belt, then he can headline whichever house show tour the WWE Champion isn't on.

If there is just one championship, then feuds will be fresher and we won't see the same guys feuding over the belts for 3-5 months

CM Punk also later said that a WWE champion vs WHC champion match is only worthy for Wrestlemania. not a big deal at all tbh.

The WHC would be perceived as an equal title...if it was treated as such. When you have Sheamus and Del Rio doing the same boring stuff over and over, it takes away from the credibility. I don't think the WWE realizes, or just doesn't care, that they can have more than 2 people compete for the WHC.

They could have a Sheamus vs Alberto Del Rio vs Randy Orton feud for the Title. Or they could bring in Wade Barrett and make it a 4 man feud for the WHC. It would make things more interesting.

Swagger Destroyed that Title. Remember how hot it was 2009? Punk was consistently maineventing PPV with the WHC, and it was far more compelling then the WWE Title. I think Punk Main Evented(Actually Closed the Show) Like 4 PPV's in a row with the belt on the line. I think that's more than Orton's ever done LOL.

-He main evented and closed the show on 3 PPVs in a row that year:

Night of Champions.
SummerSlam.
Breaking Point.

-The belt itself also main evented and close the show in a few other PPVs:

No Way Out.
Extreme Rules(Punk cashed in)
Judgement Day.
Backlash.

I read somewhere that a lot of Punk fans were mad because they didn't get to see him wrestle which made me :lmao because I know for a fact that they were probably the same people cheering for him when he walked out on the match. It's just so fucking stupid lol.

Actually didn't he get a chorus of boos for that? It was only after Sheamus started talking that I think the crowd re-directed their attention towards Sheamus, and then 5 seconds later when Punk was leaving in his car they were cheering him.

Eh, not sure. All I really remember for sure well were three things last night:

1) Punk getting a monster pop
2) Punk costing Cena his match
3) Heyman revealing himself as the driver (thought he was gonna run over Cena's arm/legs/whatever was closest to the tire :lmao)

Anger Management is just so entertaining on a whole other level that I didn't even associate it with Raw.

^^^^ I'm in the middle of the road with Punk. If he does something I think he deserves credit for, I'll give him credit. Me being on the opposite side with my opinion probably comes from the fact that I call bullshit when I see it and a lot of times, to me, some Punk marks can spout a lot of bullshit lol. I don't mark for him, no, so naturally I don't think the sun shines out his ass. If that puts me on the opposite side then so be it.

I'm sad that Anger Management is over now. :(

Trips vs. Broomstick is GOAT material. I'd legitimately watch that to see what he would do with it lol.
