Nope he's gone. He meant what he said on Raw. Sucks but it's true.

LoL at people that think Shawn Michaels, of all people (history of being dishonest and egocentric), would mean what he said. If Jimmy Wang Yang said the same thing as HBK did, I would believe him more than Michaels.

I could see him doing an appearance at Summerslam.

As far as wrestling goes, I could see him back in the ring next year.

before last night I would have said yes..

But now, no I honestly dont think he will be back to wrestle. I think what he said in that ring last, was real. It came from the heart and he meant every word. Hence the references to Vince and the guy back at HQ who makes the videos. I also think that's why they didn't make this huge thing about it, by having the entire locker room pour down to ringside. Shawn wanted to say his goodbyes, and go out on a high, with the spotlight on just him. (unlike Flair who made a big thing about it and then backed on his word by joining tna, money must have been good!) Nobody else there.......that is why i was surprised Hunter came out to the stage (note the glow stick DX merchandise push as well :-/)

He may come back as some sort of Authority figure, but not for at least 6 months, maybe even a year.

Hopefully in 6 months time, HBK returns to guest host Raw and is made GM, ending the Guest host angle. But I very very much doubt he will do it.

I don't see it, after that speech he gave. It's hard to accept, Shawn Michaels was the first wrestler i ever liked, and it isn't ever going to be the same without him.

Saddening that I'll never get to mark out at least once every Raw, as I won't hear 'I think I'm cute, I know I'm sexy' again. I'll probably never stop missing the guy, he's definitely a hero of mine.

As soon as the Wrestlemania match was booked, I knew it was going to be his last match.

Why would he ever come back to wrestle? The speech he gave in the ring last night was real. Wrestling one more time would detract from the value of it. You can never say never, and it's still hard to believe his career is over, but like Steve Austin, I see him being strong enough to admit that it's ended at the right moment.

Nope, he's done. I had my doubts until I heard his farewell speech. With the references to Vince and the production team, I knew this was truly a farewell speech. And did you notice how he mentioned he'd never work for anyone but Vince? I think this a way of squashing TNA rumors before they could start. I'm sad, I wish for one more match, but he's done. I respect that and wish him all the best

he feels so strongly on retirment matches he wont be back, he wouldnt do it to taker or his reputation

I wouldn't mind seeing him again. Perhaps not in a wrestling match, but just being worked into a storyline. Maybe he'll be an authority figure or manager. But to have him return and wrestle again full time would cheapen the match and his legacy. Besides, the man has given his life for the sport. It's time for Shawn Michaels to take a well earned rest and to leave behind the world he helped make. Thanks Shawn, it's not gonna be the same without you.

I think he'll be back... but not enough that I would bet cold cash on it just yet.

I really don't think he will be back but I did find it a little interesting that when referring to the fans chant of "one more match" he said "I will do everything in my power to see that doesn't happen".Not sure if he left the door open with that remark or he is just saying he wont give in to temptation lol.

After his retirement speech yesterday, there's not much chance of him wrestling again. It sucks to think about it, but Wrestlemania 26 was his last match. I really, really, really (can't stress the 'really' enough) hope he does come back in some kind of manager, GM or something like that role. It's actually kind of painful to think of him NEVER coming back in any way.

He'll be back.

I can't believe the marks on here were crying at his retirement speech last night, which was a work.

There's no way the WWE in its current state just lets HBK walk away, and we didn't hear any word of Shawn retiring before the build to Wrestlemania. Yet the marks are lapping it up.

HBK will be back in time for Summerslam.
