"Settle your tea kettle Ric"

Omg can they just not let Natalya speak ever again? I never cringe harder than when she gets on the mic or on commentary, and that settle your tea kettle line is the dumbest fucking catch phrase any divas ever had.

She can't even keep a straight face while cutting a promo, you can see her clearly cracking up at times. And yeah we get it Bret is your uncle, but just the way she said it on SD like "And i got someone coming with me, he is the best there is, was and ever will be, MYYY uncle... Bret... Hart :)" it just kinda irks me the way they have her brag with a smile as if "Yeah thats right my uncle is Bret Hart" but ya know fuck her dad cause he's not as big a name as Bret, she never even mentions her dad. I get that Jim isn't anywhere near Bret's level of fame or popularity but fuck he is her dad and all she ever says is my uncle this and my uncle that.

I just can't wait for this feud to be over so Sasha can finally take that title and Natalya can go back to being non existent.

Such a poor decision to have Charlotte feud with Natalya post Mania. Title should have went to either Sasha or Becky at Mania, or Sasha should have immediately chased. Now they're stuck with this poor feud, and the more popular women are stuck having fallout show based feuds. Natalya is just not interesting in the slightest unfortunately.

Hmmm. Trish was clearly better than Nattie on the mic, one way or the other.

As for Lita, indeed she was not good for much of her career in that respect. But a bit of Edge's talking skills rubbed off on her near the end. She became a pretty effective talking female heel at the end in my view. Nothing spectacular, mind you. But certainly more improved than Nattie there.

Yeah you'd think they'd have learned by now not to let Nattie speak.
Sums it up nicely. There is no real purpose to her feuding for the title either. Practically no one wanted to see Charlotte vs Natalya for the belt now. The Hart vs Flair thing is beating a dead horse at this point.

I've already ranted enough times over Natalya being a charisma vacuum so :draper2

Charlotte said on Jericho's podcast how she wasn't exactly keen to be paired with her dad, she wanted to make a name for herself without his help. Nattie on the other hand seems to leech off her family just for any sort of reaction, it's tragic.

This is weird because Charlotte cemented herself as a talent the NXT fanbase actually liked before they even got Ric involved. Furthermore her whole gimmick upon debut was "not wanting to be in his shadow", then as she turned face she became Charlotte Flair.

The people who the women's division is basically geared towards would either
a) Not care she's the daughter of old man Flair because they're young and that doesn't matter to them
b) Would like her based on her wrestling prowess and talent regardless of lineage

The reason I think they decided to pair them together is because Ric needs something to do these days. I can't remember where I read/heard it but someone said that Ric has been deeply affected by Reid's death (and rightfully so) and that has just strongly accentuated his alcohol problems among other things, which is why HHH and/or Vince took it upon themselves to get him involved directly again. Staying on the road seems to be helping him for the most part, even if he embarrassed himself at that airport recently.

She might nog be the best promo but after 6 months of feuding with clownshoes they had to pair her up with someone who's reliable in the ring and doesn't have to be carried all the way through.

From a storyline perspective it makes perfect sense as well.

And ultimately it's just to give her a solid final feud before Sasha snatches that thing away from her.

I will admit that Natalya isn't amazing on the mic but she might be the most credible for feuding for the Womens championship outside the Horsewomen. My opinion is slightly bias because I've always liked Natalya but I think she should be at least a 24 hours champion,

LOL. I can almost imagine Styles screaming at Roman - " I had nothing to do with this! " .. and Roman gives his smirk and tells him --- Hey dude, settle your tea kettle :lmao

Whilst Natalya may not be the best on the mic she's one of the most solid workers in the Women's Division so I'm very happy that she's getting a feud for the title. It's such a shame due to her in-ring skills and her lineage that she's only been champion once. She should have had a few title reigns by now.

Natalya has pathetically bad mic skills and charisma. Usually I'm very forgiving of that if a wrestler is great in the ring but for Natalya it is really noticeable and hard to ignore. She truly should be utilized as a ring trainer in the performance center, she should not be an on screen wrestler.

:reneelel Acting like WWE wasn't going to fuck up the momentum from that Triple Threat Women's match at Mania. Yeah, put Becky and Sasha to the side to give Bret "Natalya" Hart a shot at the title, producing some WOAT ass promos from her and Charlotte.

By the way, the FUCK are Sasha and Becky even doing right now that is significant? Not surprised with Becky (as I fucking told all Becky fans she was on there at Mania to take the pin/submission and sent back to the side) and I am a bit with Sasha since she is groomed as the next champion obviously but to have them completely not doing anything worthwhile before Charlotte and Natalya is mindboggling. Not surprising but just....wow, this company can't do anything right anymore.

I might have missed something completely, but what has Natty done from a kayfabe aspect to earn a title shot? Less than a month ago at WM, it was all about Charlotte, Becky, and Sasha. Now it's all about Charlotte and Natty. Did Natty beat Becky and Sasha? I'm legitimately asking. Sometimes I float off when the women are on Raw. If she hasn't beaten them, then it is really odd that she is all of a sudden getting a title shot. Very random.

Nope, all she did was taking the mic after other women left the ring during that terrible handled promo at Post-Mania Raw.

Well, anyway this is just a filler fued for a B PPV, so I won't complain as much as others.
