So on Smackdown, Dean "accidentally" clotheslined Roman. Then almost suicide dived right into Roman.
Whats strange about both occurrences is the League Of Nations was holding Reigns both times. Could Dean be in cahoots with The Authority? I dont think so, I cant see Dean teaming up with anyone.
Booking 101 says Reigns now will "accidentally" hit Ambrose on RAW. I swear they did this exact booking with Reigns and Bryan last year but I digress.
So my question is, who turns heel, how, and when?
If Roman turns heel its going to be big, so I cant see it at FASTLANE. Yet if Roman is facing HHH at WM, theres no way to turn heel.
So I see only two ways for it to happen...
At FASTLANE, Ambreigns takes out Lesnar, then while Deans back is turned Roman hits him with a chair or spears him, getting the dirty win.
Or....Ambreigns does a double pin on Brock, its a triple threat at WM and Roman does the same thing.
Now how to turn Ambrose???? UMM, retire Daniel Bryan forever? I really dont know. I guess if its a triple threat at Mania, Dean can cheat....um...nevermind, I cant come up with a viable Ambrose heel turn.
I know people hate, that but that was about the funniest shit ever when it happened, and completely in line with the style of the NWO. I don't think, at the time, anyone saw it as other than cheating and being dicks about it. Normal heel work.
Please, he's not that beloved, don't oversell him. Plenty of people dislike him just as much as they do Roman. Especially after 1 year of shit booking and stale character.
You know what WWE is gonna do, they're gonna tease it, then nothing will happen at FL :lol
I see a Dean heel turn failing at this point, not that many people are gonna boo Dean right now if they turn him heel against Roman. Not as many as WWE would be hoping for, anyway. Hell, I definitely won't. But then again, he'd could be the most evil heel on the roster and I'd still cheer for him
They do this at least once every 2 months. Ambrose and Reigns get partnered up and they tease a potential heel turn, and it doesn't happen. Honestly, I've lost all interested in either of them turning against the other because of that reason alone. WWE have a tendency to overkill everything until it becomes stale and too late to actually pull off properly.
I can see that. I can see him doing a good job of it. However, if they think Reigns will get cheered because Ambrose is a heel....it isn't going to work
Heel Ambrose is only gonna work if it's his own man.
That's how he's always been. Corporate Ambrose just doesn't hold a visual in my head atm. Not saying it wouldn't work, but I can't see it working. And I'm the type of person who can actually see Wyatt fam going against the authority and working. Not now, but a little earlier in the year.
If they do turn Ambrose heel, I hope he isn't just fed to Reigns because we know how that feud is going to end. I'd personally love for Ambrose to turn heel, be built up as a top heel who is given strong mic time with freedom, eventually win the belt in the summer and then top face Seth Rollins returns to claim back what was rightfully is after never technically losing the belt and we then get Rollins/Ambrose but in their rightful roles.
Ambreigns is a joke. They should as a power trip be kicking everyone asses together. But instead they don't really seem to help each other out when it counts. The end of the royal rumble is a prime example. Vince booking at its finest.
Word. They could do with them what they were thinking of doing with trips and Austin. Have them go on a dominant rampage but built tension until one of them betray the other over jealousy. All they are missing is roman winning the WHC back and both of them getting that tag belt. Make that run last until Summerslam where they face each other.
Ambrose turns heel only after Seth comes back face and then there is a tonne of tooing and froing about whether to forgive Seth. Have it go on for a while with it unsure whether they'll trust Seth or should, then when they finally trust Seth and get back together properly BOOM Ambrose costs one of them the title and starts off a mega heel run.
Nah. Roman's never turning heel again, and Dean won't turn in a while either. Of course they are teasing dissension, they wanna make you think that they could turn against each other and with doing so hyping up the PPV match. But nothing's gonna happen.
It would be very dumb to turn Dean against Reigns too since he would still get way more cheers than Roman does, who knows, perhaps even more than he does now.
Honestly, if they turn one of them, I think it will be Dean. Why? He's the most boring option and that's the WWE way. He's halfway to heal already, nothing would change about his gimmick except, "I don't like you!" It would have more impact on Roman's gimmick (and he could finally loose the Shield gear) so they'll be too scared.
I hate that. I'm not saying I'd love some Russo-esque, do it just to do it shenanigans, but they're too afraid to shake things up anymore.
Irrelevant: Every damn package of corn dogs at the store had "honey batter." What does that even mean? I like catsup and mustard on my corn dogs, why in Christ's name would I have honey near them?
Reigns absolutely could turn heel at WM. Still, I'd turn him initially at Fastlane. He'd go further down the rabbit hole and to the point of no return at WM.
If Dean turns heel, it better be a lone-wolf kinda heel. Corporate heel does not fit his character at all up to this point.
But I don't actually see it happening. A Roman heel-turn would be beneficial to himself big time and that's what everyone wants to see really bad, but them turning Dean would backfire big time. Not only would the "Thank you Ambrose" chants be deafening, it would only really turn him into an edgier babyface. Plus if he turns on Roman, there goes Roman's crutch and heat shield from the fans.
Ok good, butwhy should an Ambrose fan gives a fuck if it is detrimental to poor Reigna? Im sorry im at a point where I can barely stand this Ambrose and if turning him heel would give back His edge then so be it. Could give a rat s s as what happens to Roman. I'm sure they ll de push him :booklel
What's gonna happen if they go through this is us Ambrose fans will live it while the rest will continue to bitch and moan, cool for me.
I really want a heel Ambrose, but I'm scared that trying to take away his cheers and start giving him boos could derail any chance of Vince taking him seriously as WWE Champion. He gets such a consistently loud pop now, and I think he is a top merch seller, and those might be the only things to finally change Vince's mind.
Plus Face Dean and Heel Roman is 10x better than Face Roman and Heel Dean. Heel Dean and Heel Roman is also better.
It's only logical to cause some dissention in the storyline. It would be pretty damn weird if they would be best buddies while same time competing for the Championship spot.
If they want to turn somebody (Ambrose is the more likely choice), do it after Mania. Tease it until FastLane and after nothing happens have them go on their separate paths; Roman focus on WHC and Dean focus on defending the IC Title. Have Dean lose the IC Title at Mania and Roman win back the WHC. On the RAW after Mania, you can start turning Ambrose there by having him show a different side in his matches, have him act weird toward everybody and different interactions with Roman so we can still believe that they're cool with each other but don't do the full turn until or right before Seth returns. That's the only way I see an Ambrose turn working. A slow, slow build is perfect for him.
:aries2
Anyway, It's getting boring now, we had this discussion twice or 3 times now regarding that topic, we'll see what's gonna happen when it happens.
I feel a Roman heel turn would benefit both as it would take Deans overness into the stratosphere, thus making him a huge star.
