How about HHH script and produce a Raw with the NXT booking and I can gurantee a high ratings show and everyone would love it. That would show the old man Vince he is past it and its time to step down and hand the company over to his son in law who does a better job. NXT is proof he can script and produce a better show so now do it for Raw :trips but no doube Vince would fear this :vince4

When Triple H finally IS in charge it will prob be a combination of both what we see on NXT and the good AE/RA era RAWs. Or at least that is what I am expecting. It can't just be changed that quick anyway nor can it become a carbon copy of NXT because then NXT would sorta lose its identity. NXT is great because it is different, it is booked like an Indy show.

I don't think Triple H booking one Raw with "NXT Booking" will suddenly skyrocket the ratings. Ratings don't just magically go from 2.16 to 5.00 in a single week, unless the United States President and Vladimir Putin are in a match and it's advertised heavily.

In all honesty, I agree with the overexposure issue Clay mentioned, Rollins was booked like 70% of the show and it hurt him. I can also see Triple H making it a bit more RA but not quite. Something of a cross between RA and the PG we have now.

What we really need is for multiple pushes, don't need to do a brand split to delegate feuds to two shows, but of course they can't even push two shows let alone two guys, so anyone doing SmackDown promos is seen as a B+ Feud, and is just backseating to Raw. Terrible. But if they do build up SmackDown then yeah, you could have say Dean Ambrose vs Kevin Owens on SmackDown (this is still pretending that SmackDown is worth a damn) and Roman Reigns vs The "Eurothority." SmackDown can be a bit more edgier while Raw can remain a bit more friendlier. It works, I guess. It's just WWE has the mindset that the Golden Boy can literally carry the entire company and that booking is nonsense.

Surely you aren't talking about Network ratings as that's not how network ratings work. One show wouldn't do shit if there is no buildup to it.

Now if you're talking about ratings in the sense of how you would rate that one show then I can see how that might work. That being said I don't know that it would change anything as the goals set-forth would not change. Booking ONE show differently wouldn't do a goddamn thing for the product as a whole. The ends would still be the same and so would the means for the most part. I don't think booking one show differently is any kind of solution at all.

No one show could change it. People don't get texts 15minutes in saying "It's good this week"

It takes a few weeks of good shit to rebuild the buzz. Possibly months.

You need to show that it isn't a fluke. That's the wwe s problem right now. They try to fix everything by pulling out the stops for a night or two. Let's call up HBK and other legends for a night. Except we know it means nothing. Let's have a 'season finale' with big matches, to follow it with almost the same card a week later.

They need to worry about consistency first

NXT booking would not work. That show is booked for a smaller audience, although their storyline are very cut and dry and easy to follow.

Better to be cut and dry than to not exist at all like Raw.

Wouldn't work, plus HHH has very small influence compared to NXT.

I'm not impressed with NXT at all, just happens with a hour show people don't get over exposed like happened with Rollins that was sinking ratings with his 6-8 segments per RAW, also HHH already as a lot of influence with RAW minus ADR and New Day all his boys (and girl) hold the belts.

With only Owens being the only decent of all the people he suggest Vince to push.

Yeah, I don't understand all the love for NXT booking at all -- to me it's just RAW on a smaller scale with interchangeable fresh faces in the storylines. The ONLY thing that I find NXT does brilliantly are the bio promos that they show for individual wrestlers like the one they did for Balor and the Bayley/Sasha feud. The actual storylines aren't really anything special and they're rarely consistant. The wrestling on the show is no better than what we get on RAW -- it's just easier to digest because it's not 3 bloody hours

Idt HHH scripts NXT, Ryan Ward does under Head writer David Kapoor who started off as Ranjin Singh alongside Khali

HHH is Executive Vice president of Talent/Live Events/Creative for WWE and handles all the Licensing, Merchandising, Event-schedules and contracts.

I don't like to advertise it here, but seriously, you should read a thread in the "NXT subforum": http://www.wrestlingforum.com/nxt/1847490-nxt-slowly-becoming-raw-2-0-booking.html

You should stop pretending that HHH is some kind of god that will save the show inmediately when he takes over. If you watched NXT, you would have realized that since Dusty's death NXT booking has become a lot like RAW. It is because Dusty's was the main booker for all the time NXT was awesome 2014-Summer 2015. Thank you BOSS for that. We don't know who is booking NXT currently, but I suspect that is HHH. And he is doing terribly. After all, Finn Balor has been booked like Cena for months. It has been awful, and Finn, being the good wrestler that he is, is overpushed, the "protected" of HHH.

Ah, and you know, right now, the awful Main Event storyline we have is featuring two HHH guys: Roman and Sheamus. I wouldn't be surprised if HHH was the one who pushed for this shitty thing. :vince4

After all, I guess he never liked Ambrose as he never liked Punk.

I don't think HHH intricately books NXT but like Vince on RAW he'll oversee every decision while having head bookers.

All thats really required is a more serious product with thought provoking storylines, while many will say easier said than done it is actually a lot easier than many believe, when you control the script you can control the audience.

Why don't let the wrestlers book their feuds?
How many guys are going to willing put over others? And themselves suffer?

That is a silly idea and could never work. At least not in a company as big as WWE. I admire your spirit though. I wish in a perfect world people were capable of not feeling animosity, jealousy, or any other common workplace emotions.

Mythical booking where everything is perfect despite similarties to Raw such as

All the singles faces on NXT are Cena "smiling happy go lucky babyfaces" seen in Balor, Itami, Sammi Zayn, and Apollo Crews.

Putting the titles on everyone except the guys the fans apparently want such as Enzo and Cass or Jordan and Gable

Goofy childish gimmicks like Face Emma and Bayley Bo Fit.

The same "when will the face overcome the odds" storyline seen with Bayley and Sami Zayn

Not saying any of that is bad I enjoy NXT but it really is similar to the main roster. Though I will say their Women's division was better before the purge of the horsewomen
