How exactly is Ambrose crazy or a lunatic?

I mean other than making goofy faces he's pretty much a normal guy, goes around fist bumping Roman, he respectfully shook Reigns' hand after losing to him. He never has any sort of meltdown or goes crazy, his character is pretty much a laid back cool guy.

He never attacks anyone or shows any signs of a mental disorder, the lunatic fringe and all that shit is just basically nothing more than nick names only, they have no merit to them. If he was crazy or a lunatic after losing a match he'd throw a fit and lose it, not respectfully shake their hand or some shit.

FCW Dean Ambrose now that was a crazy motherfucker, just the look he went around with on his face came off as unstable and demented. But on the main roster its like WWE knows he made his name in the indies and in FCW as a demented crazy guy so they label him as that. But at the same time they completely changed his character and made him an average laid back normal guy who loves being buddy's with Reigns.

This is the Ambrose i want

Exactly. His introduction has been poor since he got to the main roster. He should've been seen as the leader of the group, not Reigns, since that was his thing: being crazy = doing bad stuff. And he should've been the one to turn and be the lunatic he was in FCW.

They do everything wrong... is it intentional or???

Pretty much exactly what you said and to make it that extra bit frustrating just like Bray Wyatt he should be the easiest guy too book. Just by doing the things you said he doesn't do. WWE creative are just coming off as lazy more and more.

I'll never forget that first promo in FCW "As of now be ready and forget what you think you know about FCW and this business cause Dean Ambrose IS ABOUT TO BLOW THE DOORS OFF EVERYTHING!". He didn't talk about fish tanks and random goofy comedy shit, he was a serious cold calculating threat.

And this promo still gives me chills, sucha great promo vid that highlights just how crazy he was in FCW.

You know I just can't sympathize with Ambrose, there is not a single interview in which I have seen him being motivated or ambitious enough to succeed in the WWE. He seems like one of those guys who's just happy to be there and that it. He was used to cover up Rollins and Reigns mic skills but he didn't do anything for himself at all. And when you're not willing to achieve success like others around you, you will be left behind. Atleast Roman is taking advantage of his position and Rollins is keeping his ties strong with HHH

Even a former trainer said that Dean Ambrose isn't as good of a politician as Seth Rollins is

He's the Walt Disney version of Brian Pillman -- it's as simple as that. Everything about his gimmick is overcooked and it's obvious that he'd be better suited as a heel in a non-PG environment
Pretty much this. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Ambrose would have been a great contender for the Hardcore championship (RIP), or hell at the very least even something as simple as backstage assaults would make him seem a little more "unhinged", but WWE is such PG pussrags afraid to ever bust out some weaponry on the air.

I think the only way he is crazy is by how much pain he could take and how he always comes back and never stops, other than that, he isn't really crazy. That is all WWE fault.

Its pretty simple how to book a crazy character that is actually edgy. He should first do like a total bipolar mood type guy, one second, he talks and talks and talks, about the most randomest shit in the world. Like the backstage interview after the breeze match. The next day, he is quiet, doesn't say anything and just walks off. Stop the goofy faces and you are all good when Ambrose isn't serious. Now when he is serious. He comes off as calm and calculating. Know's every painful move and how to execute to the max. Have him know where every weapon in the whole arena is, when he is in a bad mood, he is the most dangerous sob on the planet. For example, he is walking, angrily and one random worker who is doing his work looks at Ambrose, and Ambrose just fucking kills him. If he is angry at someone, try so many different ways of actually hospitalizing his opponent. Like the Seth Rollins green slime thing, instead of green slime its a mini bomb, and Rollins quickly runs away right before it defuses and sparks fly out like crazy. (Not an actual bomb because it could be dangerous) another thing is he should be relentless, but not stupid, what happened at TLC against Bray was stupid. He should know everything around him and if it doesn't screw him over, he just doesn't care enough to actually do anything about it. He is hidden everywhere where his rivals are, and ambush them at anytime. He also loves pain, everything that hurts he should have a smile until it hurts so much that his face starts showing pain. And he still loves it. Like he should be excited to face Brock Lesner in an octogan with barbed wires around brocks hands, not that extreme but you know what I mean. Have him cut Jon Moxley type promos about his life before and what horrible things he did to other people, and he would scare the lights out of his rivals and even children, he should be psychotic enough to scare children, but if children don't like a specific heel, they should be able to wish Dean Ambrose on them. That is how crazy he should be. That is just his anti hero face persona. His heel should be jo n Moxley or fcw ambrose.

It's a poor gimmick, to be honest.

It's one that could be expanded on, but the WWE are too PG focused to do that.

Because he does that lame bounce-off-the-ropes clothesline about four times every match and still thinks it looks good.

I think him getting his vest torn to the point it's just hanging off him but keeping it on for an hour is probably the craziest thing I've seen him do.

He does do an elbow drop TO A STANDING OPPONENT, that's pretty crazy, no? Hmm..

Because he can grasp upon some dudes wiener with a pair of tongs, and in PG WWE, that's some real lunatic fringe esque shit.

He looked and acted so much better in the SHIELD, then they tried to turn him in to a lunatic by giving him shit wrestling attire, and made him look and act less unhinged than when he was ranting and raving about justice and attacking random people every Week.

Vintage mordern WWE, they set out to accomplish something or change somebody, and they inadvertently manage to pull off the exact opposite.

Agreed, a babyface Ambrose doesn't fit with his Lunatic gimmick, he desperately needs a heel turn in order to be labeled as a true psycho freak.
