So, the whole Ziggler/Lana and Rusev/Summer thing ended in kayfabe just like that? With no finish, no story, nothing? Rusev and Lana get engaged in real life and suddenly they put it in kayfabe without any storyline reason or ANYTHING?

I mean I get Lana is injured but couldn't they wait? So you're telling me that this shit angle that has been going on for months just ends so abruptly and they don't even finish it?

Lana and Ziggler have been all lovey dovey and now they split up and it's not even mentioned? One day, it's Lana with Ziggler and Summer with Rusev, and Lana and Rusev hate each other.

Then all of a sudden Lana and Rusev get engaged and they don't even do a storyline on it? Really?

REALLY?

I mean I've gone through all the WWE bullshit from 2007 until now, but I seriously feel like this is the straw that breaks the stupid motherfucking camel's back.

Part of me wonders if they got engaged IRL solely to put an end to the storyline.

Ummmm no matter what Lana could say to Rusev....when you've been together that long and your boss makes your girlfriend do spots with another superstar who is pretty good looking, has probably banged handfuls of women, and have them kiss and shit, yeah you may want to give a fuck you by engaging in real life and letting it leak. Probably pissed off Vince that Rusev did this last month and didn't let it be part of the storyline this fall. I can almost guarantee you that's what has happened and why Rusev keeps losing whether 1 on 1 or in tag team events. His last win on air was September 21st when he was paired with The New Day and they won.

Yeah this whole thing is mind boggling, they didn't even try and have any type of storyline leading up to them getting back together. Just out of the blue they reveal Lana and Rusev are engaged, even though last time we saw Lana on tv she hated Rusev and Rusev has been with Summer for months now cause Lana wanted nothing to do with him. This is the dumbest shit they've done in a long time, and they've done some dumb ass shit.

Why just break kayfabe like that and make that horrible storyline make even less sense? Why not just have Rusev get fed up with Summer and dump her? No instead they just say "Aw fuck the last 3 months of this storyline we kept shoving down your throats it was all fake!".

Yeah i'm happy that dumb ass shit is over but this was beyond retarded, almost as retarded as TNA's shit with Matt Hardy vacating the title 2 days after he won it lol.

Yeah, I'm wondering if they are going to explain this. Summarily:

Dolph already knew this would be likely to happen.

Summer understandably is angry at Rusev.

Why would Rusev and Lana kayfabe get back together is the bigger question. Unless they want to make Lana seem meek and submissive literally after going out of their way to make her empowered. Unless there is a heel turn commencing, but wow - not with a bang but with a whimper.

This whole storyline is a mess and the ending is both abrupt and random.

Sometimes that works out for the best.

If you ever read comics there's a great example for this kind of situation. Spider-Man had 40+ years of comics in the mid/late 2000s.

His character had gotten married, gotten through rough patches, almost became a dad, took a stable job as a teacher, quit that to work for Tony Stark/announce his public identity to promote the superhero registration act, etc...

So much had changed that Spider-Man seemed less and less like Spider-Man. They wrote themselves into a corner and made the 'young' superhero seem pretty old.

So they did the most ridiculous storyline ever, called One More Day. Spidermans Aunt was shot by a villain and on the verge of death. Mephisto (Satan) appears and offers to save his Aunts life in exchange for Spidermans marriage. His love is so pure that it makes the devil happy to take it away. Peter and Mary Jane are like "We'll find each other again" and agree. The devil changes history so that their wedding fell apart and small ripples led to Spidermans identity not being known.Resetting the character to always broke, single, youthful 20s photographer guy Peter - not the adult he had become. The devil says at the last minute that this will prevent the birth of their future hero daughter and that he's prevented her birth/deprived the world of her good, blah blah blah

The story was dumb and random. People bitched about it for years and some stopped reading. But by resetting the book, we had stories that couldn't happen before and things were fresh again. Peter dated around and expanded his world. Things kept changing and the book became great once more.

Nowadays you don't even think back to that dumb storyline, because it served its purpose and it's a distant memory.

Actually, I've never bought another Spider-Man issue again. I'd been collecting Amazing Spider-Man for a little over twenty years, and yes, the book had just went through a TERRIBLE run (the whole Gwen Stacy having kids with Norman Osborn stuff), but that was the final straw. It made me realize it was just a stupid comic to begin with, that Marvel doesn't give two sh*ts about it so why should I?

Oh well, back to wrestling, it was a HUGE mistake to split Lana and Rusev in the first place.

It was dumb but there can be positives that can happen out of this. If Dolph starts turning slow burn style, Rusev can be an sympathetic face and turn into a badass. I'm imagining that Lana comes back and her and Dolph are friends, and she comes back and he blames her for a loss, corners her while screaming, and I could see Rusev getting a solid pop for rescuing his fiancé, they need a double turn to happen though. Rusev didn't come off as a heel at all in this feud and Dolph really needs some direction at this point, everyone involved deserves better.

They should have done a Triple H / Steph story where Rusev drives Lana to a drive-thru marraige place and makes her marry him whilst she is unconcscious, twist being he does the same to hot Summer and has married them both. Excuse would be "He's Russian". Would make for comedy gold.

Them acknowledging Lana & Rusev being engaged on Raw is one of the most bizarre & completely brain dead things I've ever seen. I wanted to put my head through a window. Vince needs to fire his writers. Every last mother fucking one of them. Raw is a chore right now.

I know a lot of people didn't liked that storyline but I was cool with it, at least, Rusev got to shine thanks to it.

And the WWE needs to know right now if kayfabe still exist. I mean, what do they think ? EVERYONE knows the WWE is fake, who cares about what TMZ said, nobody cares about that. The only thing it did was making the WWE looks stupid...

Ziggler has been talking to one of the Bella Twins though. This makes sense. Rusev realized what he had to do and so he proposed. This kind of shit happens in real life. Ziggler and the other Bella will start dating which hints at the match Cena vs Ziggler had.

It made perfect sense. I know what the fans want dammit!
