What's the batting average on that move being executed right since he started using it? .500 at best.
Lately it seems like I'm seeing the shitty looking one that Cole has to cover for more and more. He didn't get all of it. Fucking drop the move already cuz you can't even do it right Mr. Make Wish.
The fact is that the move is never going to look natural. He is bouncing backward off the ropes to an opponent that is either stationary or coming forward towards him. It will look botched pretty much every time. I think he hit it pretty cleanly against Stardust once.
I think this about sums it up, against a decent performer (feel dirty for not saying wrestler but there you are) its fine, lots of moves require the other guy to help out, when was the last time you saw a back body drop actually performed? it always misses!
Agree, it just looks so bad... for the one who take it. Seriously, the opponent just look so dumb because he have to wait since Cena is so slow and the whole thing about the move is bad
Springboard ? Funny to do this when Cesaro or Kalisto are on the roster and do a real springboard while Cena takes so much time...
Stunner ? No, the stunner is one of the most iconic move in wrestling and choosing to use that move for a signature that never gets the two count is stupid
shit, that's the tip of the iceberg of what that fucker does wrong in the ring. but hey, he brings camera crews with him when he does nice things, so lets all look the other way
Another day another Cena hate thread. On topic the move is sh8t and anyone that does the move deserves a depush. And I feel sorry for anyone who has to sell that move. No its not cause it's Cena I'd hate Neville or ambrose using it. It's a shit move
I am just saying the fact that it is the exact same thing with his Step-over-Toe Facehold submission hold. He makes it look so weak, like he is making out with his oponents.
Yeah, it's got to go. If it was anyone else they'd have forcibly removed it from them already. That Sunset flip/Cena-go-round needs to go too really just because of how awkward it looks to set up.
lmao agreed Johnny boy is one of the most unathletic guys on the roster seeing him do high risk manaveur is really cringeworthy I feel bad for his opponents who has to sell his Springboard stunner, Hurricana he'll even his drop kick they just look really bad and its embarrassing to look at.
Although I give him credit for trying to expand his move set, the problem is he's trying to expand it with moves that don't suit him. Cena is not an agile guy & yet he's trying to pull off moves you see from cruiserweight a. Spring board stunners, hurricaranas, yoshi tonics, ect are all moves that he's tried adding to his move set that he really shouldn't of. If he keeps trying to pull off maneuvers that he clearly has no business pulling off, he's eventually going to hurt himself or someone else, it's only a matter of time.
That move is not conducive to looking great because it doesn't. It's just something we'll have to earn to live with as he has incorporated it into his moveset.
It's a horrible move, I respect Cena adding more moves to his arseral, but this move is up there with John Morrisons Starship Pain as it never connects xD
I have no idea why even still does it, he has to know that it looks awful right? I thought that swing and a miss part of the moves of doom made wrestling look terrible but his Springboard Stunner is about to beat it.
The first time I first saw one of his botches, I wished that he would never do it again. But since this is Cena, I eventually lost care about his botches since even that is getting stale for me to actually care.
But yeah. Hope that a)he does not do that move again (low possibility) or b)do it right but use it sparringly.
