Paige and Sasha play off each other really well

This isn't a "whose better than who"/"who carried who" etc....Throwing that bullshit out of the window right now.

What I want to know is how do you guys feel about the way these two play off each other in the ring and just as characters period.

I especially got a kick out of how Sasha would mock Paige or taunt her catchphrases and taunts and I laughed when she shoved Paige out of the ring after the match and that's just outside of the the fact that they put on a damn good divas TV match and had the crowd into it the whole time. Not to mention both seem super motivated in the ring together.

Anyone think a potential feud just between these two could be amusing? Especially with their history together where Sasha was once Paige's perennial jobber since 2012 and then Summee convinced her to stop just being happy with that and it Kickstarted her current character's development.....more or less.

And I repeat this isn't a thread for Over the top Paige or Sasha Hate and the like.

The match was great. Both held their own and Paige really brought it tonight. I give credit where it's due. Her recent performances have been lazy and lackluster, but being in the ring with Sasha lit a fire under her ass and she went out there and proved her worth by bringing intensity and some new moves. Complacent Paige is bad, motivated Paige is great. Lets hope that she continues to give a fuck in the future. With that said, I'm not interested in a feud between the two because Sasha tapped her out twice. I don't even want to see a third match anytime soon.

I would have to agree here. Like I said on the chat. With the right opponent than we wills start seeing the real Paige out there. Not the lazy one. But the real one. To be honest I have always enjoyed seeing both of them wrestle each other because they have good chemistry together. Face vs Face or heel vs face. Doesn't matter because they really know how to claw each other out. Not hold back as well. I have a feeling that Paige will continue to care/give a fuck in the future with all of the original NXT girls finally on Raw. So far I am loving this. But I did see this one coming. Paige tapping to Sasha 2 weeks in a roll. Bad booking right here. But can't do anything about it now.

It was a solid match and Paige finally had a good opponent to work with. Her tapping to Sasha twice in two weeks could be seen as bad but I don't think it will be a regular thing at all. They're just trying to make Sasha look credible and like a top heel but they obviously can't have Nikki or Charlotte or Becky lose to her. A win over Brie or Alicia isn't enough either. I don't think Paige will lose again to her so soon either though. Where are the other divas? There needs to be some jobbers around to take some losses, and so the other women don't always face eachother, and don't look weak when putting someone else over either.

They did solid work, and it's been a few years since they've worked together in which Sasha got a lot better and Paige was subjected to the nonsense that is the Divas roster, yet they still stepped it up. I think they'll do better down the road, though.

It's as much a step in the right direction as jobbing Becky to Nikki on SD will be a step in the wrong direction.

One thing I notice is that the divas' submissions always look more legit than the mens' probably due to them being more flexible which is great for Becky Lynch, her armbar looks devastating! So do most of the submission finishers.

Sasha was our local champion in Boston for close to a year before signing with WWE.
They really didn't let her develop a character in NXT for a year or two. She was basically the Boss character in Boston and was putting on insane matches in armories and high schools four years ago.
I'm loving they're finally letting the world see what she was doing for 25 to 50 people up here years ago.

Sigh more Mark War-ring as usual? Anyone with eyes and ears can see Paige was calling that match and she answered a lot of fans criticisms by switching up her offense in the match.

Not to mention, this match used similar sequences to Paige's Alicia Fox matches where she's more motivate during those matches.

There was no "carrying".

Great match between the two and I would love to see a feud between them but not for a while. Both girls have great chemistry together and you can tell Paige is definitely stepping her game up and is more motivated now that she has the NXT girls to work with. Wasn't a huge fan of the ending of the match, having Paige, the leader of her group, tap 2 times in a row seems silly but I'm not too worried. She's still one of the top divas and has so much time left to become dominant again. I love that she has no problem putting Sasha over and you can tell both girls are friends in real life with good chemistry. Sasha has been owning it lately and I'm happy this has continued onto the MR. One day I can definitely see her and Paige going up for the title at Wrestlemaina.

You guys seem to forget that Sasha is the NXT champ. In all honesty she can't be booked to lose much or take pins at all during this entire engagement.

They are building her to be on Nikkis level. When they do the line ups Sasha is front and center. If theu can push Nikki out the way once she passes AJ and title up Sasha then that leaves plenty of room feuds with Lynch, Flair etc.

Paige isn't a big factor in this movement she's just the biggest pawn.

The backstage segment mad Paige look really bad compared to Sasha. She's been in WWE for hw many years and she's still awkward on the mic, and it's even worse when you have more natural girls like Sasha Banks or even Becky (hell Tamina plays her role quite well too). Sasha is probably gonna be the best promo girl in the history of the biz (I put Mickie James up there too).

The match was decent. Really glad to see Divas matches get plenty of time now. Far cry from the previous years. However, I can hear Paige calling some of the spots in the match against Banks. Needs to be toned down. Other than that, keep it up!

It was a lackluster match that I'm thinking people are praising because it almost went 14 minutes. Paige kept on audibly calling spots, especially near the end when she stopped Sasha's double knees and put her in a submission. Sasha Banks tried making her look good by taking most of her offense, although the better match would have had Sasha dominating Paige (since she's a far superior wrestler). Overall: Fake-looking offense, poor selling, and unnecessary lesbian antics - all of which can be attributed to Paige. If this match is Paige "giving a shit" as some people in this thread said then I'm glad that I didn't watch the Divas division for years.

It was a great match between the two. I was surprised that Paige tapped out. I didn't expect her to lose clean to Sasha in the way. I'm conflicted. I'm happy that Sasha won but wonder if this is setting up "too much, too soon" for her.

I do agree that Paige got complacent and a fire has been lit under her. The passion is there again in her work and it's been great to watch. I feel like Paige has started to live up to her hype lately.

It wasn't so much that the tapping was bad, it was the execution. Paige barely fought the submission and looked kind of like a jobber from that. And bad production really, because the announcers sold it for a second, then Sasha kicks Paige out of the ring while she's down (that was unnecessary, and not sold at all) and the camera immediately is off of them and they're doing a promo for some other stupid shit on the show. They didn't get a chance to actually sell that moment of Paige losing. It was making her look like anyone else, instead of a star who just lost.
