I disagree. I liked their match. They didn't do all the crazy spots most guys do to get a reaction, they had a simple match and were able to get the crowd to react. But I respect your opinion.
they worked for the first time ever! it's very rare to have chemistry the first night wrestling each other without a time to prepare, they did ok. i think they shouldn't have wasted this match on raw let alone with this finish .
i can see them having a match in a big PPV, they will have very good matches because they haven't showed us nothing yet, i think they could have a great feud with technical wrestling and some great brawls .
Randy in his career had some great matches with the Canadian guys like Benoit, Christian, Edge and Y2J, so i think he would do very good squaring off with Owens, Zayn and Tyler Breeze .
dont take this match seriously it was just a tease, you could see Owens on the ramp saying : "Randy we will meet again" and doing his pose .
You can some what blame it on Orton, not that he's a bad wrestler not at all he's actually very good but its his slow pace to his matches that ruin things for some fans. It doesn't always work well when watching because a lot of his matches are very much the same and he does that so he doesn't risk injuring himself because if you remember he used to work quicker matches and took more risks but couldn't stay healthy for very long so he switched up his style so he can work longer more methodical matches
Lol this is obviously a bait thread. The op hates Orton so he created this topic so people could bash Orton because he knows that they won't blame Kevin Owens since he's a iwc favorite. Smh. It was a good match with the amount of time given.
Owens likes to work on top bullying his opponents, and Orton is just about the least sympathetic face in WWE. At this point all you're going to get out of Orton is the usual soulless WWE paint by numbers spot fest.
It was a tick above average Raw match. Owens and Orton just went and tried to beat one another up. I thing the reason some found it boring was because both guys work in slower, more methodical styles. So putting those together means you won't have a faster paced match, which to me is fine because you need contrasts in your matches. Having one type of match becomes boring very quickly, so this was a nice change of pace.
Next up, getting rid of all the matches chock full of near falls.
I thought it was a pretty good physical match where the interference was actually good and furthered storylines well. When they first stood face to face I was a bit worried because it was the most out of place Owens has looked [with Orton being so much bigger] but as soon as they started it was fine.
I really liked that Cesaro came out in "normal" clothes rather than his ring gear, too many guys run down in their WWE T and trunks, it looks like there just standing outside the curtain waiting. Too most people it's probably a non-factor but I love the urgency and desire to get out there and get to someone.
seriously, I don't like Orton but the man is a fantastic worker, his match with HBK at SurvivorSeries 07 is one my favorite of all times.
