Could Stardust please go back to Cody Rhodes? His Stardust gimmick is a pathetic joke, his promos literally suck. Why is WWE continuing with that god awful gimmick? Give us Cody Rhodes 2.0 now.

WWE seems to dislike the Rhodes family for some reason. They never give any of them the credit they deserve. Dusty Rhodes was a big name in the NWA, he was a former World Champion, and arguably one of the best babyface wrestlers of all time, yet in WWE they had him in polka dots and made him out to be a mid-carder. Goldust was the same. People say that Goldust could have been a great heel champion in his prime, and was a great worker to boot, yet WWE never saw much in him. I guess they just didn't understand his gimmick, and didn't think it deserved to be a champion. Now Cody Rhodes is in the same position as his father and his ........ WWE has him constantly moving from gimmick to gimmick, and has no real direction for him. It might be different if Cody's gimmick sucked, but most of his gimmicks have actually worked. But when he gets a bit of momentum for himself WWE pulls the plug.

, and took him back in 2005 after he helped build WWE's only competition TNA, added him to the creative team, inducted him into the HOF, let him mentor young wrestlers, and gave him NXT which he built up to be almost better than Raw. You're right, they shit all over him. Kappa.

Maybe because he wanted to do it? Maybe because the name "Stardust" means something to him and he has been called it since he was a kid, or maybe, just maybe because he doesn't want to exploit and whore himself out to cash in on his dad's death?

You people really are selfish, there is nothing wrong with the gimmick, it's entertaining and is actually what Cody wanted to do. This whole comic book thing with Neville is his idea.

Stardust the character needs someone to play off, and I think, for the moment Nevelle will fill that well enough. Like or hate the character he's got just about the best damn theme music going right now.

I must have missed that

As far as Stardust goes, he's a bit of campy fun. I find Cody Rhodes bland and boring, he does well with a character.

How would bland, ordinary Cody Rhodes be any better to you? Stardust is at least a character that looks like it'd be fun to portray as opposed to Cody just being his ordinary self with his ordinary name. I know it's a knockout of his .......'s gimmick, but the oddball, off-the-wall idiosyncrasies that he brings to it and the way he portrays it, he still makes it feel like it's own. He's like a much lighter, less evil version of The Joker in a way.

I actually like the gimmick, when Cody first started it I was quite skeptical as to how the Stardust character would play out, but Cody has made the character his own and can hopefully keep evolving the character. With a few tweaks I think he could become a decent heel.

Yep, that's a good way to describe Stardust. That's the way I see him.

I feel like I'm repeating myself here but I like it, specially when they're actually doing something with it.

He's found his character here and he's so good at it, as well as allows him to be creative, it's awesome.

As in this off the cuff interview here, he's so good and natural at this, has found his feet and is the best thing he's done.
