over the period of one week cena and cesaro have given us two classic matches on raw

but what we as tv viewers don't see or pay much attention to are the things that go on outside those events (and sometimes during the matches lol)

the first cena vs cesaro match last week went 20 minutes 10 seconds bell to bell..the longest match on raw all year up to that point beating wyatt vs ambrose from january 5th which went 19 minutes 34 seconds

now the fun begins. after the match cesaro and cena (along with half the crew) travelled from washington dc (site of raw) to singapore, a distance of about 9,650 miles or around 22 hour flight. they had an event in singapore on thursday and then flew 3330 miles or 7 hours to tokyo for a show on friday and another on saturday. after the show on saturday night in tokyo they flew the 6,300 mile journey back (12 hour flight) to chicago for raw last night

so after nearly 20,000 miles travelled in a few days, 40+ hours spent on a plane, numerous time zones crossed and recrossed they come back last night and wrestle for 30 minutes 5 seconds bell to bell..easily the longest match on raw all year

hats off to both cesaro and cena, the dedication both men have to their craft is amazing. they could have half-assed the match last night and cited tiredness, jetlag or any number of issues. instead they went out there and put on a fantastic match.

Besides the normal Cena come get some promo before the matches. I actually look forward to seeing who will come out to answer the challenge each week. Cena has made that US mean something and really is having some of the best matches of his career with some of the younger guys that have been misused or just not given a push yet.

Wish Cesaro was giving the shot to run with the IC belt instead of Rybak.

Yup this is what I like. Cena making that title matter instead of floundering in main event and doing Cena-ish stuff he has been doing for years. Not only does he make that title credible again(hasn't been for years) he makes young guns look like a million bucks. I'm usually pretty neutral to Cena but I applaud the effort of both Cena and Cesaro. This match was worthy a main event. A truly great match.

Thank you Valid, when people were bitching about the match even knowing how far these two traveled and all the work they did previous really upset me. No appreciation and a bunch of whining, shitting on Cena, saying Cesaro's promo was like the most terrible thing ever as if their favorites are on the Rock's, Punk's level of speaking. It's nice to see just someone have some appreciation.

I like the positivity - regardless of the expectations of the match that people have.
