Cena cuts a promo on Chicago and Cesaro after RAW goes off Air.

Could be genuine praise, or Cena down with what the crowd's popping for but regardless, nice to see Cesaro get a moment with the crowd.

So Cena puts over other guys (who of course just jobbed to him) off the air but makes sure to point out the cancer kids on the air to put himself over. Cool.
not his call dude, dont be that guy.

Glad Cesaro got his moment. Just hope something good out of it. With great booking Cesaro can be a decent top star(doesn't have to be the guy).

I feel ya there bud.

Can't help but think their not gonna do anything of significance with him, but one can hope ;)

At least this shows 2 things for sure. The fans still love him. When his number is called, he delivers.

Damn that gave me chills.

I really don't think this was Cena pandering this time, pretty much everything I've seen from interviews and backstage stories says most everyone genuinely likes, respects and appreciates Cesaro and his talent. Even the way all the Cena / Cesaro matches have been structured, Cena gives him massive moments of offense and bumps his ass off for him. So happy that Cesaro got that moment and I really hope this can be the start something big for him.

Cesaro both connects AND delivers every single week. It's guys like him who but their ass every single match when they know that it probably won't earn them a push due to bullshit politics that make me keep watching and remind me what a true class act is. He KNOWS that they aren't going to push him but he still goes out and puts on a MOTY candidate every time he gets a chance because he knows that while the higher ups don't respect him, anyone who watches him does. Cesaro may never win another title again. He may be released within the next year. He may be jobbing to R-Truth in a couple of months, but he will always keep a good attitude and won't go complain or half ass his performances, he'll do it with a smile on his face and with the respect of anyone who's had the privilege to watch such a great performer and person do what he does best. #PushCesaro

I'd also like to add that there are few people who can come out to crickets and leave to a standing ovation.

Cesaro does deserve all the praise. He really brought up his A game and if it weren't for the booked PPV match on Battleground... who knows, maybe he could have won.

Anyway, both respect for both guys for giving us an amazing match.

I hope Cesaro gets ANY match on the PPV card. I want to see him actually get matches so he can keep and grow this momentum up.

Him and Luke Harper have been putting on excellent matches on Main Event, and Superstars. Would be a great addition to the card to end their little mini feud.

Hell even against BNB. Anything would be an upgrade from facing R-Truth

Course he would, they lift together. But seriously how could you not praise that man. Props to John for the endorsement genuine or whatever well deserved

Nice comments, but the fact that it's Cena makes me question the sincerity of what he's saying.

I'm such a skeptic when it comes to this stuff. It's happened so many times before it's hard to not just stare at any sort of 'endorsement' with a blank face. Cesaro doesn't need endorsing, he is fantastic by his own merit. He lets it show in the ring and does so with ease.

Yeah I'm sure Cesaro commands some respect backstage not because of his in-ring skills alone, but his strength combined with in-ring skills. I'm sure Cena made the call to get 2 consecutive matches with Cesaro, and although Cesaro lost, he's on people's radars..........until WWE fuck up by having Cesaro do nothing next week.

This ^^

They need to embrace his momentum this time around. Even if its just a filler match against BNB or something. All they gotta do is put him on TV, he'll do the rest.

Book him as a face, and let him pick up some wins and hopefully by the time SummerSlam rolls around they'll have an actual feud for him.

This isn't even the first time he's done it for Cesaro. I recall seeing a video during a European tour where he did the same thing. Cena praising you does nothing for you.

It seems he has enough pull to have guys buried but not enough to get management to give someone a real push.

From what I recall Cena and Cesaro both worth out together and they both put in the same amount of time at the gym and focus on training. He works his ass off as much as Cena, Cena has much respect for Cesaro and in every match they had, he's always sold Cesaro well and made him look great. Sadly Cena praise does nothing, I believe Cena is being genuine but Cena seems to have little pull when it comes to anyone but himself.

It irks me because Vince wants a guy who is dedicated to WWE, Cesaro is as dedicated as Cena, works out as hard as Cena, gets praised by Cena and delivers in the ring and yet Vince is like "meh". It's so frustrating because he'll push guys who are lazy, couldn't care less about the fans or who are terrible on the mic but holds every little thing against Cesaro despite his obvious dedication. He's got big props from SCSA, Cena and other big time WWE guys, not guys pandering to get him over but guys who really see something in him but Vince just doesn't care.

Cesaro deserves every scintilla of approbation from the fans and even that may be woefully inadequate. He is the best wrestler going in WWE today and, when allowed to, he backs it up at every opportunity. Lord knows why Vince doesnt push him as the monster who can match the in ring prowess of far smaller men. Cesaro=Excellence.

Now that Cena has hyped Cesaro the ball is now in the court of Creative to deliver, personally when Cesaro came out and faced off Owens I was hoping it'd lead to a triple-threat US challenge but either way Cesaro showcased a class match with his opportunity.
