Ppl are riding his dick bec hes stupid indy hack when its clear as day and light that this guy cant fcking wrestle. Reigns is 10x better in the ring than ambrose.

How many credible move does he has, zero.
His matches puts you to sleep, its evident from most of his matches where crowd just goes dead
His typical matches goes like this punch, kick make stupid faces repeat.

Also hes good on mic but not great like ppl make him to be. I have yet to see any good promos from him. Also his ring attire sucks so much.

He needs to be send back to nxt to learn how to wrestle and add some fcking moves to his arsenal.

Beelee Dat :reigns

:clap I was hoping for a round of Suzuki kicks! ;)

Dean is a good worker and ,no, Reigns is not ten times the worker that Dean is. Hyperbole much? And if you haven't seen a good Dean promo, then I'd suggest you haven't been very attentive while you were watching.

The guy knows his way around the ring, his arsenal just looks weak as f*ck because he looks like he has no strength. He is all acting and retard facials.

His athleticism is minimal, but his selling, stick work and character work make up for it. The guy has good timing, rarely botches and can take a bump.

His strikes just need a bit more sting, and his physicality needs to step up.

Those flaws can at least be trained. The stuff he excels at are the kinds of things you can't train.

Ambrose is a good worker. He doesn't lack wrestling skill as the OP stated.

Being a good wrestler isn't defined by how many moves you have. It's whether the moves presently used are executed correctly, which in Dean's case, they are.
Working a certain style like the one Ambrose uses does require a certain amount of intensity, which is perhaps one of the areas where I believe Dean needs to improve. Austin was an incredible ring worker and a really good wrestler in his own right. His style combined very physical and intense striking with some well chosen moves, ring psychology and a tonne of character. In that respect, Ambrose just needs a little more aggression to his striking. Austin was relentless, like Ambrose. Constant, but Austin snapped those punches and forced those kicks. When Ambrose adds that to his repertoire, this idea of "not enough moves" will cease to be an argument.

He does know how to wrestle and is very good at it. He has a limited moveset, but he's wrestling according to his gimmick. A lunatic fringe shouldn't be a technical wrestler, he should be a chaotic brawler which Dean is.

Rebound clothesline
Dropkick to opponent stuck in the ropes
Elbow drop on standing opponent
Tornado DDT
Suicide dive
Punch/chop combo

As well as all his other mannerisms fit his gimmick inside the ring. His moveset also makes sense considering it targets the opponents head/neck. Ambrose is one of the best in ring storytellers in the WWE. I think its more likely you don't understand wrestling rather than Ambrose not knowing how to wrestle.

If they have any smarts at all, they put the belt on him at Elimination Chamber. Rollins has done an Okay job as champ despite his limitations, but Ambrose just has a connection with the crowd and a kind of charisma that you can't teach. So what if he doesn't do a corkscrew 7293 backflip, he's all about the psychology. This generation would probably bash Jake Roberts because he couldn't pull off a Standing shooting star press.

Dean Ambrose is terrible wrestling as a face because the quicker pace highlights how random, weak and completely lacking in wow factor his moveset is. Add to the fact he doesn't have any signature chants or taunts for the crowd to participate in or anything to let them know the end is coming and it's a surprise he manages as good a reaction as he does. Even the charisma vacuum Cesaro knows to hype the crowd up for the big swing. "But Ambrose isn't that type of character" you say; even Bray has the corner hang, spider walk and Sister Abigail's kiss. Dean's thing is working for him now but will it still this time next year?

I'll say his moveset set is kinda repititive. but can't wrestle? GTFO. his in-ring storytelling is always on point and he sells every move really well. and if you talk about mic skill, to me he is the best on the roster but hey i can probaly not say anything like that cus im just a fanboy/dickrider right! cant have even like a wrestler anymore before calling him a dickrider

Holy crap this thread sucks.

First off, it's only opinion as to who everybody thinks is a good "wrestler" or who you think is "anything special". Why haven't we realized this yet? The current "Lunatic Fringe" character of Dean Ambrose isn't supposed to be a 5-star grappler. His character is a straight up "I don't give a shit" brawler. Sure, he's had a few matches with Regal and maybe Wyatt that show that he can actually get it done, quite well actually, but that's like saying Austin wasn't a good "wrestler". Steve had amazing matches with Steamboat, Sting, Savage, among others in WCW. But, that was his character at the time. Imagine if the 1997 DTA, BMF Austin 3:16 came in and applied fujiwara armbars, busted out the moss covered three handled family gredunza and his finish was a single leg crab. Come on now.

That's not how it works. That's not how professional wrestling works.

And on a related note, I can't really take in-ring opinions seriously from anyone who has a Bella in their avatar and fucking Eva Marie's name in their username. I just can't.

I love Ambrose in the ring. Very rough, jagged style; however, in my opinion, it comes off as intentional. I find his matches smooth, he had a great finish against Bray the other night. I've the thing he does coming off the ropes. Something to make him a little more unique.

Let's not forget, the dude is also wrestling in jeans lol. He's the closest thing to a next gen Austin.
