Corbin not Zayn...

Don't get me wrong I love Sami Zayn, but Zayn was in no shape, or form healthy enough to come back. He looked sloppy and why debut him vs Cena? Corbin should have been the "one" because it wouldn't have necessarily meant he were "officially" on the main roster. Corbin's debut should have just been a loud warning to everyone on the roster. Baron Corbin standing over Cena after "End of Days" would have blown the roof off the arena, literally. Best part is Cena wouldn't have taken a title loss because Baron's statement would just be to prove that he can take even the best of the best out in a matter of seconds. "End of Days", stands over Cena, and the leaves to one of the loudest pops in WWE - NXT Debut history.

The Debut of Sami Zayn

Regardless of what anyone thinks Sami should have debuted under a mask. He would be under the control of Paul Heyman. Notice I said under the control. Meaning Heyman is the heel manager with a "face" as his client, reluctant client may I add. Paul, prior to Sami's debut keeps telling HHH that he has someone he would like to introduce to the WWE Universe. Over time Heyman requests a little more from HHH in regards to his new client. Paul then asks HHH if it would be okay for his client to have a stipulation in his contract just to prove how good he actually is. HHH is interested and asks Heyman to go on.

Paul informs HHH that his client he is so certain he should be on the main roster that he asks that HHH grant whomever defeats him and unmasks him a WWE title shot. What this does is huge, and builds one of the best baby face talents of our time with Heyman the antagonists pushing Sami over time. HHH grants the requests and tells Paul he better deliver and makes pun at Axel. Paul over time would then begin to tell the world that in just weeks time they will all bare witness to perhaps the best wrestler in the world. Heyman informs the wrestling world of the contract stipulation of his new client known as "The Best In The World", a complete jab at CM Punk. Out comes Sami Zayn under a mask and wearing similar attire that he has worn his whole WWE career.

What we come to find is that Zayn has a ton of challengers each week, but only having to answer to singles matches. His stipulation does not work under any other match type other than singles. As you would have guessed Sami goes on to win plenty of matches and many become frustrated. Heyman never allows Sami to talk even when he reaches for a mic. Fans pick up on things like this and realize who is who. Realizing that Heyman is a total prick and his client is actually bad ass, and awesome in the ring. After so many matches finally "The Best In the World" finally snaps on Heyman, and lets him know that he wants to speak his mind. What he doesn't realize is that Heyman has lined up a match with him already because he found someone who can defeat him and then rip his mask off.

Out comes Brock Lesnar. We come to find that this may have been a set up the whole time. Heyman is the manager of "The Best In The World" and so he makes his matches. Heyman asks that the bell be rung and the match be started. It last all, but an F5. Lesnar delivers three just to make sure. He pins Paul's other client and then rips the mask off his face. Revealing to the world who he actually is. This puts Lesnar in a title match and Heyman humiliates Sami Zayn. I think this would be a great way to build the character of Sami Zayn, and debut him in a real story.

not sure why people are comparing those two. reigns was always going to get an orton/rock type push from the off given his credentials ie tall, good body, great look (the hollywood look if you want to call it something), family background. the minute those guys are signed by wwe its obvious where they end up. its extremely rare that someone ticks all four boxes and missing out on one thing is enough to mean you are midcard for life.

corbin on the other hand has none of those things outside of being tall. if he is lucky he might get a good run in wwe like say kane but normally someone like him ends up like other tall footballers such as heidenreich or snitsky. if he is unlucky he will be another ricky ortiz

Corbin is in NO WAY ready for the Main Roster, especially not any sort of major push on the main roster. And in the city they were in last night Corbin would NOT have blown the roof off the arena, if anything he would have gotten shit on by the live crowd b/c he was NOT Zayn. Last night was the correct place and way to debut Zayn on the Main Roster IMO, the shoulder injury was unfortunate.

He is barely ready (at least from he has shown) for his role in NXT. Not saying Corbin is terrible and has no future, I am just saying that we have not seen enough of him for me to make a judgment. There are a few positives I see in him already I will say that though.

Na mate they'll save that for Wrestlemania. John Cena having beaten everyone and I mean everyone in his open challenge (Brock, Randy, I mean bloody everyone) will give anyone he has never faced a shot at the title at Wrestlemania. Out comes the Lone Wolf Baron Corbin to wow us with his presence (and you can't teach that), the camera even showing Cena to be somewhat afraid, match begins and Cena lands all his moves on Corbin. The Cena Dropkick, Cena Legdrop, Cenarana, Cena Bomb, Cena Stunner, AA x3, STF, 5 Knuckle shuffle, Protobomb, and nothing keeps the big man down until finally when Cena goes for his flying shoulderblocks one too many times the big wolf plucks him from midair (look at the strength) and END OF DAYS! 1-2-3!

In his next feud Baron will receive 5 consecutive Red Arrows and still kick out. Naturally he'll clean house as an unbeatable monster until he gets pinned by Big Show at Summerslam after receiving two knockout punches.

I never said that Corbin should stay on the main roster. Corbin coming out to make a point, that he is the future. What's wrong with that? No match, just Corbin giving "End of Days" to Cena. Proving that the future is near, and he is a part of it. Where and why are people responding about him being ready right now. Simple, unannounced, appearances would totally put him over before being a main stay on the roster.

Trust me as someone who was at the show last night, we weren't going to accept anyone accepting that challenge other than Zayn or Owens, but we know Owens isn't going to be on the main roster as long as he's holding the NXT Title, so Zayn was the guy we wanted. Corbin would not have gotten much of a positive reaction.

Baron Corbin sucks. Theres only a handfull of people in wwe I think are complete and utter trash. Swagger,Brie,Ariane or whatever the non naomi funcadactyl is called. Corbin is on that list. One facial expression. One move. One walk. Zero talent.

Its like they taped one of his matches and put it on repeat. Sami Zayn however is one of the most spectacular performers of the last decade. The fact that you would even put the two in the same sentence is ridicolous.

Has Corbin even been wrestling for a year at this point? Just a disastrous idea , guy needs a lot more time down at NXT . Zayn has been wrestling for nearly 15 years and been at NXT for what 3 years? If anyone deserved to go up to the main roster, its the guys with actual experience

Corbin needs to be released; dude is boring as hell and sucks ass.

Don't you worry, Corbin is coming to bury everyone in about a year. Vince got a hardon once he put on his glasses and seen Corbin. Don't you all fear, the push Corbin is going to get is going to make Reigns push look like nothing, especially when he pins brock and defeats Reigns and Cena.

I've seen the future and it's filled with fire and burials as far as the eye can see.

Zayn had one of the best debuts of all time (1 vs 1 against the face of the company in a lengthy back and forth title match and kicking out of an AA). The fuck you talking about, Op?...And it may have been a sloppy match in Zayn's standards, but it was still the best match of the night and that's saying something.
