Apparently there is talk that the person Bray Wyatt is refering to in his promos is Ryback. Is he tired of jobbing and figures he will stay away from main eventers and set his sights on a midcard jobber?
He goes from calling out undertaker to calling out Ryback lol. It's not even an upper midcarder like Ziggler or Ambrose.
Before we can determine if a win here would do him good we have to hear his mission statement. Losing to HOFers isn't what's making Wyatt look bad, it's not accomplishing anything he set out to do. He didn't bring the demon out of Kane, or convert Bryan or turn Cena or beat Undertaker to become the new face of fear plus he lost his only 2 followers. Pretty pathetic for a bad ass, evil cult leader.
They wouldn't need to do this is they had just did the proper booking and had Bray go over Taker. The win does nothing for Undertaker as we are not even going to see him for another year, if even that. But the loss kills Bray Wyatt who is here fulltime.
WWE are really annoying me with Bray. What are they actually doing? Bray and Ryback seem to be guys that they may do something with at one point in the future with regards to a serious main event push but they appear to be in limbo until WWE decides to get their finger out.
Bray is a WWE creative writer's dream. Because his character is so abstract, they can make his ramblings apply to whoever they want, or no one at all. First, people thought he was referring to Reigns. Now, it's Ryback. Just a few days to Extreme Rules, Reigns has Big Show, Ryback isn't booked and neither is Bray.
Bray is like a "break glass in case of emergency" heel. If they need to make a new feud, they just say that all his shit talk was directed towards *insert any babyface here*.
Every feud Wyatt has, they make him look like a complete chump on the way out, that's the problem. He loses the feud, and that's that, all this talk and they go over him. It's damaging to his credibility, but WWE don't care about that.
Bray fanboys are the worse, Bray will be long forgotton by the time he's 50, Undertaker is an all time great, its hilarious people think he'll ever be a legend like the Undertaker, Bam Bam Bigelow was way better than Bray in the ring and yet nobody compares him to the Undertakers legendary status.
Bray feuding with Ryback does nothing for Bray if he goes over because Ryback isn't a big name in the WWE (hell he was in the pre show at WM 31), its like the feud with Jericho Bray had, did nothing for Bray because Jericho was already putting people over, but the feud could help Ryback though if Ryback goes over.
what is his issue/reason for going after ryback? such a strange way to begin feuds, just randomly calling someone out. if he had started low, then gradually worked hisway up (while winning), and it were a 'you're next on my list' type of ongoing story in which he worked his way up to challenging the Ic or US champ, then further, it might make more sense.
Well what do you expect OP? you didn't think Bray would be in the main event scene feuding with main eventers all the time, did you? He's already feuded with Cena and Undertaker. After that, the only other option would be Orton and Reigns, and considering everybody is afraid of Wyatt getting buried again I can't imagine those would be reliable right now.
A feud with someone on Wyatt's level right now, might just be good for him. Ryback is more or less on his level so it might prove interesting for him.
Nah. Ryback should win. Wyatt beats Ryback, then he moves onto a feud that actually has gravity and he loses. Rinse and repeat. No thanks. Break the chains now.
I've been considering this for quite some time. I'm not sure if it's the feuds that are horrible are just simply Bray's character losing steam. He did win over Ambrose and Jericho but those wins meant nothing. If the next feud bombs despite him going over, they just need to retool him as something other than what he is now since the WWE doesn't care beyond cryptic promo's. Let him be a cult leader who wants real power. A lot of them do get seduced by things they claim to hate. That could be Bray. Or even get his father and Bo Dallas involved in an angle with him. The WWE has nothing to lose at this point with him.
Honestly, I'd have just rather he lost to Reigns. Feuding with Ryback is proof that they've given up on him completely, probably because of that sprained ankle at WrestleMania that was nobody's fault, because we all know they hate people who've ever been injured, even if it's an incredibly minor one that you miss no time for.
Even if he wins, losing to a big name would at least give him more profile on the card. Since wins and losses don't make a fucking difference in this company anyway, they should at LEAST have him losing high on the card than winning low on the card, even if he wins. I wouldn't be surprised if he loses just because Vince is out of his mind at this point.
Its just too samey with him and thats why is he boring the hell out of me. Firstly, he needs to stop with these mysterious promos, they're bugging me! secondly, he needs to stop randomly finding new babyfaces to try and 'convert, bring up their demons or failures'and have a meaningful feud. Taker has been his only meaningful feud, yet he lost... and calls himself the new face of fear? come on man! he fucking lost.
I'm tired of him attacking a new babyface each feud for his pathetic abstract reasons. Why cant someone attack him? why cant he step up to authority? why does Wyatt have to go all abstract and then once his feud finishes, he finds a new babyface to fight?
