Raw did a lot right but it also did some things wrong.

Raw overall was great last night especially the first two hours, the first two hours was the best raw in years then it all went down hill after that (starting with or after the divas match).

Raw was going to great in the beginning, we got some awesome matches were they actually gave the wrestlers time to work a good match, they showcased new NXT starts and make them look like a million bucks with the Luchas and Neville.

Kalisto could be a huge star if booked right they waned the next Rey they could have him, He is everything they wanted with Mystico but better.
Neville looked great in his debut.

They actually made the IC and US title holders look strong. I know a lot of people didnt like the Cena vs Ambrose match, I thought it was good and made Ambrose look strong. Its good to see IC and US title holders in title matches and win instead of those champions always jobbing in non title matches.

The Brock vs Seth segment ws gold, the best part of the night, (more on that in a bit).

Even the diva match was given time and it was pretty damn good even though, I would have rather seen Shasha banks in the match.

I was fine with the Rusev squash match since h needs to keep being strong but after that raw was pretty terrible in the last hour, it was the typical same old crappy WWE especially the last segment which was just awful for a post WM raw.

Raw would have been much better if they switched the order of things.

The main event should have taken place when the Lesnar segment took place and the Lesnar vs Rollins tease should have ended the show with raw going off the air with all the commentators laid out.
It would have made the show way better and also not make it so awkward when Saxon was left floundering and mumbling through commentary for about an hour before the King showed up.

It would have been great going off the air with the ring side doctors wheeling everyone out and Steph coming out and yelling at Lesnar that he needs to get out of the ring and that he is suspended.

I think if you added mixed up the bad segments been all the great ones raw would have been much better received, all the great fan fair it got in the first half was lost in the 2nd half when it started to go down hill.

But raw did show us one thing.

Raw could be amazing again if booked like NXT and that is what he seemed liked in the fist half of raw.
That is how they need to book raw all the time and not the shitty 2nd half. It also shows how smaller guys like Kalisto and Neville can be super over.

Its time for the WWE to start moving in the NXT starts and moving out the fossils like Big Show and Kane who basically ruined the last segment.

I won't even rage on Reigns but I will say this. They missed a golden opportunity to to turn him heel. If thy had his match near the beginning after he won the match with the spear to a course of boos, he could have turned his back on the fans and cut a rocky like promo when he turned heel with the NOD.

Also about turning heel, Ambrose should have gone heel after the Cena match.

Raw was great overall, and shows how the future is bright if they just book the show correctly, because in the first half, that is the Raw that everyone has been waiting for.

I agree...except for the Ambrose turning heel part. It's best that they didn't have him do it with Cena. Much as I love the guy, having someone turn heel in a program with CENA is basically just BEGGING for them to be buried. Turn him heel by all means, but with someone else.

Would have been more of a wow moment and landscape changer then the fucking boring old weekly tag team mainevent was.

Ambrose turning or something would have been ideal.

But yea OP, the start of the show for the first 2 hours was intense!

Brock and Heyman were fucking golden and I mean golden, loved every bit of it! The show was on fire then add Bryan vs Ziggler and Cena vs Ambrose it was on track to be a great Raw.

That ended angered me so much, was expecting so much better then that shit. fpalm

I'm telling you guys. Roman should just tag team with Jimmy in Jey's place while Jey is injured. Roman gets a break from the upper card & the heat, gets to wrestle with his cousin instead of against, & can kind of just have some fun with it and improve his newer moves & maybe add some newer, flashier ones. At the same time, fans who hate him don't have to see him main event a weekly show. He doesn't have to spend a year(s) as a heel, & his own fans can get a break & enjoy him without interference. I don't see how not everyone wins on this. That is ultimate compromising.

I think Charlotte should have teamed up with Paige and aj. I would love to see my girl Sasha in the match with the bellas but she just got the nxt women's belt so I understand. I haven't seen Charlotte in a while... Would have been perfect for the #givediviasachance movement to debut her on the raw after mina.
