On top of the chants, he got a lukewarm reaction the first time he came out and complete silence the 2nd time. When does Vince smarten up and pull the plug on the failed Roman Reigns experiment?
He'll pull the plug if he fails. He hasn't even been given the ball yet. He's not had a chance to prove his worth. Crowd reaction means very little; all that's going to matter is his ability to draw. That's what will determine if he's going to be a top guy, not the neckbeards shouting "you can't wrestle" when they probably can't even tie their own shoes.

But I think WWE will come around and turn Roman heel at Mania, so no biggie. (Y)
Starting to believe that Rollins will be the future franchise over Roman. It's unfortunate because Roman would've had a clearer path if WWE hadn't jumped the shark this year.
If WWE is so adamant on having Reigns as a face, they should have had him go up against Triple H. They could have exchanged wins at Royal Rumble and Fast Lane with Roman eventually beating Hunter at Wrestlemania. Triple H does a fine job as a heel and he could have put over Reigns the same way he did to Batista.
When will he smarten up? It's Vince, he never will. It's more like when does his hand get forced, and it will, at which point, he'll continue to force feed Reigns to us, just in a slightly diminished capacity. As far as him being the new John Cena, that's not happening. I knew he wouldn't be because he can't talk and that's the absolute, non negotiable requirement to be the #1 draw in the promotion.

I hope Reigns does get a heel turn. I cannot be arsed with another "face of the company" getting booed by a sizeable chunk of the audience everywhere he goes.
Some people had no problem blaming Cm punk and Bryan in the past for ratings but when its Reigns "ohhhhhh no you cant blame him one person should not be blamed" :maury
Ratings dropped from the previous week too, but of course Romans fan base will continue to cover their eyes and ears and disregard the fact that a pretty face alone won't carry a multimillion dollar corporation or put asses in seats. He's not in a boy band, he's supposedly an entertainer and a professional wrestler. He does nothing better than anyone on that roster besides flip his hair and bat his eyelashes. He's all style, no substance, and the sooner he fails to draw and receives total apathy from crowds, the sooner they will get him off of my screen and into the midcard where he currently belongs.
Those "you cant wrestle chants" sure died down as the match progressed. Instead of smarks chanting, "You can't wrestle" to Roman they should be more honest and chant, "You're not a darling..." clap, clap, clap-clap-clap!
i'm just counting the days til mania for the crowd to shit all over reigns' match anytime he's winning. i really hope they don't have heyman betray brock and have reigns turn heel. i want him to be the face champion and have the crowd boo his ass out of the stadium.
WWE will be like that family who wont disconnect their loved one from life support, even though doctors say that they are gone. Vince will keep pushing Reigns because,, Damnit, he knows better than the fans. Funny, I thought the customer was always right.

Talk good about me, talk bad about me, just talk about me. - Shane Douglas
As long as he gets a reaction at WM good or bad thats all that matters. If you want this guy to fail (and you shouldn't thats just not nice) then you don't say anything
This is a foolish way of thinking when it comes to this particular instance. When you are PRESENTED as the GOOD GUY who is supposed to get cheers, boos are a terrible terrible thing.
But last Monday night was basically the Seth Rollins show, if the ratings for that were bad, it's not that far-fetched to put the blame on him. He opened the show in a long segment, had a prominent skit with a mainstream television star and was the main event.
In today's wrestling , the heel is not a draw , Stewart and Reigns are the ones that you should put the blame on .
Actually I want to correct myself , blame Vince for the shitty ratings. I let my dislike for Reigns blind me for a minute there .
You must have seen a different show. His first appearance got a massive reaction, and it's difficult for ANYONE to get a second good reaction when you are given two full entrances.
The hate on here for Roman is unbelievable. Its sad. He is doing everything he can to improve his in-ring work but nobody on here will admit it. Listen, Cena is probably the worst wrestler in terms of fluidity but have you ever seen him have a bad match? Cena has had some of the best matches in history.
Those who say Roman can't wrestle obviously didn't watch FCW or NXT.
I love how you all continue to back Bryan. That YES chant is just boring already. Tyson Kidd can wrestle, like bryan, does that mean he should be in the main event at mania? Shelton Benjamin was great too, should he be WWE champion?
I hope they stick with him, I find it pretty funny that people are rejecting it even though he's been performing very well. Fans need to stop thinking they have a right to run the show.
Of course they will do that because in the social media age, the traditional heel/face wrestling dynamic seemingly no applies to a large contingent of the hardcore wrestling fansbase. The heels are now the talents who are the 'company guys', products of the system who are designed to appeal to with mass market whilst the faces are the talents who are the underutilised, technically proficient workers who more than often than have an independent background (with this seemingly being the ultimate validation of a performer when in fact is largely irrelevant). And the reality is that many of those who hate the likes of Cena and Reigns actually want and need these performers, they want to hate a talent, they want to criticise and these types of performers give them that outlet. Just look at the sheer volume of topics that the aforementioned performers generate on forums such as these, it is bordering on an obsession for some. So whilst many claim that they despise the likes of Reigns and Cena in truth they actually love what they provide for them.
Vince McMahon will fight for as long as he can until he has to give in. He will try everything to try and get Roman Reigns over, I'm really not sure when he will throw the towel in, if he even ever does.
