Yeah, I like this. It's got a Miz-like quality to it, except just a wee bit funnier.
It'll probably get overdone and stale like everything eventually does however, but for now I like it.
Honestly, i'm in love now lol. It sometimes takes a while for something to get over but this might take off in a big way, big enough to have Axel win that battle royal lol, that was fucking hilarious man.
Let me tell you brother: I've been an Axelmaniac since day 1, and come March 29th, my boy "The Axe Man" Curtis Axel is going to show the world why he is the hero that we need but do not deserve. #AXELMANIA is running wild!
Now see, the thing about that is Axel really isn't boring in the ring. He's pretty good actually. WWE just doesn't give the guy time. And he's starting to show tons of charisma, which I never thought he had.
I'm on the bandwagon, brother #axelmania :banderas
Said it before, but Axel reminds me of when Sandow started to turn crazy and get himself over.
It's just perfect for Axel. Him being crap on the mic just makes it even funnier when he's delivering a semi-serious promo. I'm pleased for him that he got a reaction finally, it's been a long time coming.
He'd make a super entertaining jobber. It seems like the writing is on the wall for Slater, and Axel seems like he could fill that spot.
It's funny that he lacked charisma when they were giving him that mini-super-push (wasn't he undefeated for a bit around the time he went over HHH?), but now he seems more charismatic, more comfortable, and more entertaining than ever by just doing this comedy gimmick.
It was wild. They could have put Axel in a triple threat match with Cena and Reigns, and he would have probably got the loudest cheers. :hbk1
