Daniel Bryan is the standard for being "Over"

The dude hasn't competed since April and he completely obliterates anyone else's cheers every single time he goes down the entrance. I haven't heard that kind of cheering since... well fuck me, since he enters the ring lol.

The definition of over has been contested so many times, but Bryan, I feel, is the true definition of being over.

There is no doubt Bryan is over but my issue is he is so damn boring to watch. He is nowhere near the boring levels of Cena/Reigns but he is still damn boring. I wish guys like Ambrose and Wyatt were getting stronger pushes since they are more entertaining to watch. Oh well this is why I have stopped watching full time anyway.

Some people need to accept that Bryan is over as fuck at some point, people chant his name every time they can.

And some others need to accept that his reaction wouldn't be so explosive without the yes chants, probably similar to Dolph Ziggler. (who is over as fuck)

I love the haters.

Stop being blind that your guy is not the one that people are behind and understand and recognize the talent this man has and has always had. It has nothing to do with the Yes chants. The man has been over EVERYWHERE he has gone in his career. He has faced legends all over the world from Jushin Liger to John Cena and always out worked and had and out pop them.

If all you know is the WWE then you don't know wrestling and what this man has done in Pro Wrestling and exactly what he means to Pro Wrestling as a whole. Bryan will never say it as he is as humble as could be but he has lay the way for the smaller guy to truly reach the top of the business that has been about the Big Man since the 80's.

He changed the system and made it better and we should all thank and respect him for that.

Bryan is over in a huge level, there's no doubt about that. After the amazing RtWM last year, there's no way he wouldn't be. He might be, as far as pure reactions go, the nº1 face today, even above Cena (thanks to mixed reactions he gets)

again tho, people were under the impression that he might be retiring, and probably were confused and anxious like we were. mix that in with the fact that they were dead all night and it's no surprise that the initial reaction wasn't the greatest. the final reaction was the most important because it signalled that yes the fans still care and yes they are still firmly behind him. the final moment was relief for all of us.

Daniel Bryan doesn't get the same type of explosive reaction that Austin broken glasses, in fact i think he might be under guys like Punk and Cena in that departament.

But i think its stupid to say that it is because it is "yes chant or nothing", when your music hits, people is going to react if they are excited.

Regarsless, i think Bryan reaction are still great, but not "legendary"

Guy is so over he got HBK, HHH and Randy Orton booed. People were saying HHH wouldn't be going heel anytime soon because they wouldn't boo him a few months before. Randy was really over (a lot of guys hate Randy on here but he was OVER) and well HBK... He got HBK booed.

If it comes down to Reigns and Bryan at the royal rumble...

Now I can't wait for the royal rumble :) :bryan2

Saying Bryan ain't over is like saying AJ Styles has never broken a guys neck.

You're actually the worst kind of fan. Whoever bores you least is the best? You just sound like a loser watching a product you obviously dont really enjoy yet watch it anyway. Subscribe to the network and go watch Bruno Sammartino in his day grandpa, the new generation is too much for you to handle and grasp

Probably the man that invented it?

But seriously, the yes chant is a great thing, people chant it when they're watching something great like the Wyatt Family vs The Shield segment on Raw, or when they're really happy, is better than an stupid "this is awesome" chant.

The best thing about it is the fact the the crowd could be completely dead, but the chant always revives them. Probably the best chant of pro wrestling history, simple and catchy.

Think in Daniel Bryan entrances and matches without the yes chants. Think about it, and stop being a blind mark for just a second, then tell me.. in a all seriously.. Do you think the atmosphere he creates would be the same?

He wouldn't be as over as he is right now if wasn't for the chants, we are not talking about "how, but they chant his name", we are talking about the atmosphere and the reception of the crowd when he appears, You know, like when.. CROWD GOES APE SHIT!

Seriously why its so hard to accept for all you? I like Bryan, but this is a fact.
this is like saying austin wouldn't have been as over without the breaking glass or the beer.

or the rock wouldn't have been as over without the rock says or any of 14 other rock catchphrases.

or the undertaker wouldn't have been as over without the bell.

all those guys would have been just as over without those things. some of the particular details of their gimmicks would have been different, is all. bryan is the same. the guy is very over, arguing "but the yes chant!" is a sideshow.

The whole 'the chants over not Daniel Bryan' debate has got boring. Clearly it is Bryan who is over now. There may have been a time a few years ago where it was just the chant but he's proved time and time again that the crowd cares about him. How would he have main evented wrestlemania if it was just the chant
