Cena using the Make A Wish Kids for cheers

Ok this has gotta stop, there is no reason they should be showing Cena making these wishes on Raw. I mean how long have they been showing us Cena's make a wish stuff? Why don't they show any other superstar doing it? You know why? Cause its not about those kids in the video its about getting John Cena over. WWE has no shame about it either using sick kids to get this ass hole cheers, and apparently Cena has no shame in it either.

You know if Cena was any kind of man he'd tell Vince "Look i do this for these kids i don't want this to be about me i don't want any kind of credit for it and i don't wanna use them for my own gain" But no the ass hole goes along with it and even brags about it in his promos. So you know what, when we boo him we're the bad guys cause how could we boo this guy look all the good things he does. Fucking pathetic man. When he brings camera's in there it stops being charity and starts being about him and what a great guy he is, it just makes sick.

Also why couldn't they have shown Daniel Bryan's make a wish he did for his make a wish kid going into WM? That kid recently died right after WM, they could have talked about that, but no we had to hear about Cena's 5 millionth wish he's granted. How many more fucking years are they gonna be using these kids to try and get Cena over? WWE give it the fuck up and push someone the fans actually like and let Cena fuck off already quit forcing him on us. This make a wish stuff just makes me hate him more because of the way he exploits it.

No. If you want a further explanation I'll give it to you, but maybe if people stopped being so selfish and trying to screw everything into backstage politics, you'd actually be glad for these kids.

Why don't you email the charity then and complain. I'm sure they absolutely hate all the publicity and exposure their cause gets on national TV. And the reason why Cena is associated most with the Make a Wish lot is for the same reason why he's the face of the company in general - maximum exposure for all parties involved.

It's sad that this always has to be dragged down to a competition. Everyone doing it does get the credit they deserve, but there's obviously a practical reason why Cena is more at the forefront.

And it's not to try and win smarks over on the internet fs .

It's not a big deal. I usually flip the channel to something more important when his make-a-wish shit comes on... It's great he does it, but i don't care to actually see it on the show.

Yeah sure its totally not about getting Cena cheers.... Cause i mean Make a wish would probably shut down and never get any wishes granted if Cena and WWE stopped showing it.

Re: Cena using the Make A Wish Kids for cheers

OP is correct, it's a marketing gimmick, sadly. You gotta love how WWE is duping the IWC with this. "Well, he may be a shit wrestler but he does all this great charity work". It's not charity if you sing and dance about it.

Remember in 2012 when all the guys on the roster who wore pink had to change their colors for the entirety of Komen month so that the breast cancer effort could be focused around Cena?

Episode 99 - Superhero Showdown Returns!

The much requested Superhero Showdown episode makes a return where we pit your favourite comic/movie/tv characters against each other to determine who's slighty better! Also we get into news of the new Civil War line-up, Star Wars The Force Awakens, Assassins Creed and undoubtably something else to do with whatever this podcast is about. Thanks for listening!

Marketing gimmick? It's plugging a charity for people to raise money for children.

Pathetic if you think it's anything but that.

They do it because it makes the company look good. Doubt very much they will stop those ads. If you don't like it, change the channel.

Re: Cena using the Make A Wish Kids for cheers

I love how selfish wrestling fans are. If it was Bryan's or Cesaro's wishes being televised you guys would be applauding them and not bitching every time it happens. Boohoo, you don't wanna see Cena on your tv. Who cares? These sick and often times dying or permanently disabled children get a chance to meet a hero of theirs and heck, even end up on tv. Do you know how awesome that is for them? How much it means for their morality and sense of wellbeing? Oh, but let's complain about it because "Cena sucks". It's not always about the IWC, y'know.
