Question Is Cena being phased out gradually due to Stephanie & HHH's growing influence in WWE?

Let me first say this is merely speculation based on what we see every week.

Between Bryan's triumphant main event push since past summer and the upcoming Roman reigns' super push as the face of the company this summer, it quite appears Cena's time on top, atleast as a face, is nearing a true end. Now it's well known fact that Cena is/was always a Vince Mcmahon guy. As well all know Vince was practically obsessed with him staying in the main event scene forever, he even brought back the fucking Rock to job to him at wrestlemania.

However ever since Stephanie and Triple H *allegedly* have gained more power within the company it seems they wanna move past Cena's dominance on WWE, by creating newer stars and positioning them above him to see how well they do. Ofcourse John Cena with over 9 years of solid push, would always have his top-tier value as a star, however his face run maybe running thin. His heel turn may be happening sooner than we expect, which would naturally put him back in the main event spot again. How do you see this move by Hunter and Steph? is it "best for business"? or do you see John Cena as the face of the company still?

Its time for a change. Cena has had pretty much 10 years in the spotlight. He's done everything. Plus he's boring and stale.

Fuck I hope so. If he's never going to turn heel, it's time to phase him out a little bit and have him start putting some people over. It's been about 9 years, it's time for a change.

From what I understand HHH isn't a big a fan of Cena as Vince is.

HHH pulled the "he cant work" card at meetings back in 2002/2003 which slowed his progress. So, maybe.

(which is not a bad thing at this stage by the way)

Firstly, Cena won't be turning heel. Ever. It's not who he is, it would hurt the Make a Wish foundation work he does, etc. He'll retire a babyface.

He's not been phased out because of a power change, he's been phased out because it's intelligent business. No one will be around forever, you gotta push for new stars as the current ones get older.

What the hell makes you think this? Just because he might face Triple H this Summer doesn't mean they're building him to be the face of the company. He's not 'face of the company' material. I'm sure WWE knows that. They're just building him to be a main-event guy, not the face of WWE.

He isn't being phased out but he can't be main event if you want others to main event. There is only so much room. Trust me, you can criticize all you want about Cena but take him off RAW for several months and let people know he won't be there and watch the ratings drop...the "casual" fans as many of you call them like Cena. No different than certain sports channels carrying baseball show a ton of Yankee games. I hate the Yanks, but the casuals like them..

It's been common knowledge that Triple H sees Roman Reigns as "the face of the WWE", not just any regular old main eventer. All the credible websites have been pushing this story for months. He'll find out how wrong he is in time, but that is still the idea.

No, Cena isn't being phased out. Just because he's busy trying to ensure for the McMahons that Bray Wyatt will never be able to get over after he's done with him, doesn't mean he's finished in the main event. Far from it, he'll be back in the title picture by the end of the year.

Temporarily Cena is being placed on the backburner to allow growth for newer faces
