The old school Raw crowd was just awful. I haven´t seen a crowd that bad for a long long time.

What do some of you guys actually want, a mild docile crowd that sits on their hands and politely claps like Richmond, VA?

It's honestly ridiculous to see people that actually chastise vocal crowds, which actually inject life into shows, because they don't cheer their favourites. There's a reason guys like Big Show, Sheamus, Cena, etc. get booed, and it's NOT because the fans are trying to boo the faces in favor of the heels. If that were true the Shield and Bryan would get booed as well.

If you're talented in any fashion at all and trying to do something interesting, then post-mania crowds will cheer for you. If you're complacent trotting out the same act every week, or are getting pushed over far more talented performers (deemed by the fans) then you'll get booed. It's completely logical and it creates pushes for wrestlers that the "majority" wants to see.

Without crowds like this we wouldn't have Bryan as the top dog champion, Cesaro beginning to get pushed to the moon, Barrett getting a renewed push, and more. I for one love all of this, and the more it continues the more the roster will be restructured. Eventually we'll have the most talented performers at the top of the card, and the mediocre talents as the jobbers or midcarders.

It means that I'm not the Samaritan. That I'm not the priest, or the Levite. That I am the ill intent... who set upon the traveler on a road that he should not have been on. (Fisk)

Re: Which RAW crowd was the worst

I have a hard time blaming crowds since they have to endure hours of bullshit now. It's hard enough staying connected to Raw just sitting in my recliner thanks to the mind-numbing recaps/ads and 15 minute promos.

The worst is them showing the opening segment 3 friggin' times throughout the show. Okay, we get it. HHH is pissed or whatever. Got it the first time, goobers. lol

To be fair, I didn't give two shits about Evolution either. Was akin to Ric Flair "coming back" to present a Slammy or whatever the hell he was doing.

Baltimore is a pretty shitty crowd. Let's see if they will live up to that expectation tomorrow on RAW.

Old School Raw by far. I still can't believe Raw is going to be there again tomorrow.

Yeah, I agree with you. Having a crowd that actually seems to care about what's going on and doesn't act like they're in a theatre watching a play is SO much better. Part of the appeal to me of pro-wrestling is that it's one of the few things where spectators are actually allowed to make noise and get involved with the performers a bit. I mean you have that with other sporting events, but somehow it always feels like their is a barrier between the crowds and the athletes. In pro-wrestling though you actually get the wrestlers (and managers and others) and the crowd to interact with each other. Why would you NOT want to take advantage of that?

Last week's crowd was a disgrace to professional wrestling. They ruined the atmosphere and my viewing experience at home by being silent during the return of Evolution.
