Where is the Toronto love?

How long has it been since Toronto has gotten a WWE pay-per-view?! Was the last one Unforgiven 2006?

Canada has some great wrestling fans and I can not believe they haven't held a PPV in Toronto for over 7 years :/

Re: Where is the Toronto love?

In WWEs eyes, getting like 9,000 people in a USA city is better than getting 16,000 or so people(which is sold out number for WWE event) in Toronto.

Going to Toronto is guaranteed sold out show with great crowd reaction. Raw a few weeks ago was their first Raw in 3 years! So something really is up with WWE and their relationship with Canadian cities, especially Toronto.

The Toronto event was attended by numerous pro sports players from Toronto as well, but WWE didn't even acknowledge them(and we all know how much WWE loves to show when athletes or other famous people are in their crowd), so WWE must really not know much about the city.

Not too sure why WWE hates Toronto now. Maybe it has something to do with how often UFC is here. Maybe WWE thinks that Toronto is a UFC city now and they won't be as successful there or something.

Just be happy you had a PPV there in 06, aswell as two WMs just as I'm happy about WWE filming TV here in UK twice a year, whereas the likes of Australia dont

Okay but that's a completely different story because you're on an entirely different continent.. it's not comparable.

Hey, he probably wants the WWE to go at Toronto because since he live there, he wants to attend at a show. And Australia isn't a big country for wrestling so they will probably never go there because their shows would be spoil

Exactly. Toronto is same time zone as many big USA cities. Not to mention that Toronto is in 3/4 of the big 4 pro sports leagues(only 20 cities can say they have 3 or more big 4 pro sports teams,Toronto is one of them).

WWE doesn't go to places like UK,Australia that much cause they have to fly all the superstars overseas and it costs alot more than a flight(or even just a bus, depending on where the superstars were last) to Toronto. Not to mention how the timezones are too diff to have WWE shows there often.

Gotta agree. Also waiting for a PPV to return to the GOAT MSG, since SS '11.

Could be a while, but I have always told myself that next time a Mania is in Toronto, I'm going to be there no matter what. Even if my wife is on her death bed. I'm going.
