No idea, but I feel like WWE is slowly warming up to Toronto again. Another show in December, no? Two shows in a four month span is good for any Canadian city. I think 2014 could see the return of a pay-per-view in Toronto, probably later in the year if it happens. Toronto would be an excellent host for Money in the Bank or TLC, though.

If they do get a PPV in 2014, I'm there!

If WWE wants to wait until 2015 so Toronto can have the Royal Rumble, fine by me.

I don't think that's live, is it? I would go to that one too if it was. I have to say the same. If WWE ever brings a PPV back here in Toronto, I wanna be all over that shit. Royal Rumble, MANIA, or Extreme Rules would be awesome.

The greatest thing about bringing a MANIA to Toronto for me, is I could probably go all out and get some insane seats. Because I wouldn't have to travel, book a hotel, and all that other shit.

Maybe it's because Toronto fans are generally shit. They have a crowd that boos/cheers whoever even when that guy is over everywhere else. From Rock, Hogan, Edge and Eugene to name a few they do whatever they want. They also don't have people like Edge, Jericho, Benoit or Trish to make Canada a home town spot either.

The crowd a few weeks ago was good but that was the exception. I'm not saying this is certainly why but it's at least a possibility.

Can't be any diff than NY that cheered heavy for Ziggler over Cena, and booed Rock at Summer Slam. We gave HHH and Orton the proper heat they deserved a few weeks back, and cheered the F out of DB and Punk. It's a very energetic crowd, and I would figure WWE would like crowds that bring that energy rather than silent ones.

Makes sense thou, WWE doesn't have much top Canadian talent anymore. If WWE had Roode, that would be amazing.

The NY crowds are that was as well but NY is basically WWE's home market.

Indeed getting someone like Roode or a new star actually billed as being from Canada would help to.

Didn't know he was Canadian. Been wanting to see him in the WWE forever. That would be dope!

You are from Toronto so you aren't exactly impartial. All I know is in the mid 2000's no crowds bugged me more than Toronto. Between the randomness of who you liked to the you screwed Bret shit. Hell you booed a face Edge in his hometown. Now that is a shitty thing to do. Canada as a whole was annoying as hell until the you screwed Bret shit stopped a few years ago.

Toronto holds so many WWE records, it's ridiculous how underutilized the city has been for the last 30 years with PPVs being so few and far between. Toronto has always been a wrestling-crazy city. The same holds true with MMA, which is why it was no surprise the UFC held their first and only Dome-show in Toronto which is currently their record.

74,000 - The Big Event (1986) (still to this date the biggest non-PPV attendance for WWF ever)
67,000 - WrestleMania 6 (1990)
25,000 - Monday Night Raw (Jan. 31, 1997)
43,000 - Monday Night Raw (Feb 8th 1999) (still to this date the biggest Raw in history)
68,000 - WrestleMania X8 (2002) (highest grossing live event in the companies history at the time)

Not to mention dozens of house shows at Maple Leaf Gardens in the 80s which drew 15-18,000 fans, as well as 9 house shows held at Skydome between 1997-1999 which averaged over 15,000 fans.

The Big Event

WrestleMania 6

This is a Monday Night Raw crowd, nuff said!
