The next two PPVs take place very close together, so while I can see their match at the next PPV being a draw or no contest somehow, I think Daniel Bryan is taking it back at HIAC.

He'll then defend against Orton at Survivor Series and win, then Orton will get written out of the fued. It'll be HHH vs Bryan after that most likely, unless Orton gets one more attempt at TLC, then HHH/Bryan at RR.

Wrestling hasn't been about actual wrestling for decades, so I dunno where this idea that Bryan becoming champion will make that happen comes from.

Not to mention that a product based solely on actual wrestling would hit absolute rock bottom in ratings and interest. Storylines, feuds and angles sell, actual wrestling doesn't.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if there's a no contest decision for this match and team Corporation will take on team Bryan and the winning team gets their captain (Bryan / Orton) the title. Weird but seems possible...

VacantChampion is an after thought
Default Re: Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton for the Vacant WWE Championship

They should have had a tournament like Survivor Series 1998 where the Rock became the Corporate Champion. They could have Bryan and Orton face-off in the finals at Battleground only for there to be a double count-out of some sort leaving the title still vacant. Then, at Hell In A Cell insert Big Show into the feud and have Show walk out WWE Champ. Then, at Survivor Series have Shane McMahon return to help D Bryan finally capture the WWE title.

Times change though, and I think it's becoming more important.

They need to put more obstacles, austin had to beat undertaker in a buried alive match just to get in the rumble let alone a title shot, dbry only obstacle is the shield beating him up each week, but he still gets title shots anyway.

Another idea is having them face in a tournament, but have orton and dbry in the first round, dbry beats orton to advance, then the try plan comes out when they have a screwy finish in the finals for a new corporate champion...... Cody RHODES!!!!!!

lol jk. someone else.

I can see this ending in another indecisive finish leading to another match at HIAC, an Iron Man match is something i'd like to see.
