Not exactly. I think too them Rock/Cena II was a big money match that people wanted to see, even if it did make "Once in a Lifetime" seem like a joke. So no, I don't think the were trying to "Waste" WM29, but I do think they're going to pull out all stops for WM30.

Waste WM29? If being one of the most profitable(and attended) wrestlemanias in history is considered a waste, then what is good for you?

I think what he's trying to say here is, with all the rumours of Rock not being able to attend wm 30, what would they have planned to take his place ?

It was just a terrible terrible show. If it was deliberately shit then they certainly did a great job.

TBH had William Moody not passed away or moreso passed away when he did 'Taker wouldn't have performed this year - fans wouldn't have it for the iconic Paul Bearer's passing not be marked by the big guy paying tribute.

Punk turning heel around this time helped move that along and honestly I think the rumours of Punk having grown disillusioned and frustrated at being the most over guy on the fulltime roster but ultimately not the guy the company would back.

The way things panned out meaning he went against Undertaker which, lets be honest, since SCSA retired, is THE main event match at WM is the only reason Punk is still there now.

NOW imagine WM29 without that match.....
