Two in the back of the head. Quick and painless.

CM Punk. Heyman needs his comeuppance and Punk is the babyface, makes no sense for Punk to lose.

Re: Why the hell is Brock Lesnar playing second fiddle to Heyman vs Punk feud?

My question is OP, How would this feud have happened/started w/o Heyman being a focal point?

I see it the opposite way round.

They're not going to kill Brock's credibility by having him job out to a 195lb guy. He's going to beat Punk and then Punk will finally GTS Heyman after the match so the face can still stand tall without having to win the match.

Re: Why the hell is Brock Lesnar playing second fiddle to Heyman vs Punk feud?

the story here is heyman vs Punk, is more meaningful that anything Lesnar can do with Punk. And him being the beast Heyman calls on to face Punk is very comic-book like, I love it!

And how can someone be opposed to heyman vs Punk promo wise? We are going to get gold from both of them.

And the story actually means something, that's always good.

Punk needs this win more than Lesnar. For both to save face, Punk can collapse the next night on Raw because he took so much damage from Lesnar. It makes both guys look strong.

Bolded the dumb parts.

Brock has no backbone now? When you're ready to get back to reality, let us know.

Punk wouldn't crush shit on the mic either. Brock could just break Punk's face if he insulted him. Alpha male badassery trumps mouth-running clowns who can't back it up.

The lynch pin of Punk getting over people on the mic (as is the case for just about anyone who gets over on the mic) is that he's booked to not be countered effectively. It isn't that Punk is good on the mic. If, for example, The Rock punched CM Punk in his face like he should have when Punk made the "boxing with god" comment, then it looks like Punk wrote a check his ass couldn't cash and looks like a fool. Instead, Rock was booked to say an d do nothing so Punk looked good.

One of the greatest ring presences ever. Rest in peace champ.

Brock will win, but Punk will eventually get revenge on Heyman

Eventually Punk should get a surprise win after giving Lesnar a GTS with his knee pad pulled down in a vicious manner. If done in that way, and allowing Brock to stretcher Punk out post-match (the way Cena should have been) Lesnar won't lose anything from the encounter.
Vince needs to hire you asap on the creative team this is genius booking here and hopefully it goes down close to this. This should be an interesting feud.
