So Punk talks all this shit, and loses, and where does that leave him? He's also the babyface in this program, they should be more worried how Punk looks after this and not Lesnar. Lesnar won't be effected by the loss, but Punk, who's lost all FOUR of his last big matches, can't afford to lose his fifth in a row.

It isn't that hard to understand.

Pretty much sums up why i keep thinking Punk will win, as soon as Heyman said "You can't beat Brock", i had that feeling.

This. Although I don't mind Punk losing as long as he ultimately beats Lesnar to end the feud. This needs to happen. I already mentioned in another thread that using the part-timers to put over the future stars of the company while they are still around is much more important that short-term profit boosts and band-aid fixes. Lesnar losing to HHH shouldn't have happened though because HHH is a part-timer as well.

Thank you. How anybody thinks the WWE should be focusing on building up the guys who work a handful of days a year over the top guys who work every day of the year, is beyond me.

Yep it's dumb in every sense of the word. It's also one of the most short-sighted ways of thinking I've seen. (Brock, Rock, and all other part-timers) are like Big loans that you've taken on from a bank, and you should use them to invest in things to grow the company like target marketing, advertising, expansion, product development or in wrestling sense (to put over future full-time stars), instead of just using them on other short-term investments to have a healthy margin at the end of the current year (by having them beat the future stars or only work with other part-timers).

If you don't use them to grow your company then when you have to pay the loans back (the part-timers leave the company for good) then you've done nothing to advance your company. It just isn't the best for your company to do it that way.

They'll probably do a Rock/Cena and give them one win each, with Brock winning this upcoming match.

Yeah, in the story conjured up in my brain Brock takes this one and even if Tyrion was being all bitchy about it Punk getting the standing ovation and refusing medical attention is how this one should end.

'Punk vs Heyman' should essentially be Punk's entire program from now til WrestleMania culminating in the rematch for the WWE Championship.

He's facing Brock Lesnar and he's not Triple H or Cena.

There you go. Ask and you shall receive.

What was the reason that the people were supposed to get behind him, other than the company just saying "phht, well, he's...in school".

The only way I'd be okay with Punk losing at Summerslam if this did indeed happen. Punk gets his rumored and long overdue Royal Rumble win, challenges Brock at Wrestlemania and beats him there.

He'll get his revenge on Heyman at the next big PPV. It's more Heyman vs Punk than Lesnar vs Punk. The writers will work it.

Lesnar is the bigger and more valuable star. He's the one with the main-event feuds lined up until Wrestlemania 31.

Punk lost to Rock twice and Undertaker at 3 straight PPV. Ever consider why? I don't want to sound mean, but he isn't big enough (star-wise) to get a win over any of the part-timers.

I like Punk too. But Lesnar has to go over.
