Re: Can Mark Henry beat Cena and become WWE champion?

Although I want Henry to win the title, it just won't happen. I could probably see Henry losing the match by DQ or count out, then he gets frustrated and lays out John Cena, then the MITB winner ( Daniel Bryan) comes out and cashes it in on an injured Cena and becomes WWE champion.

My ideal situation would be Henry winning the WWE title and Bryan cashing in and winning it at Summerslam, while Cena takes that vacation he promised us last year. Not happening, but I'm gonna dream anyway.

Mark Henry is not winning - it would make cena/undertaker predictable.

And Vince loves to troll the IWC.

Your opinions don't matter. I am right and everyone one not agreeing with me is a troll, or an idiot.

Re: Can Mark Henry beat Cena and become WWE champion?

This is how I would love this angle to go.

Mark Henry wins the WWE title. Cena is devestated.

Shortly after Mark Henry retires as champion, taking the belt with him. Cena is all 'without the WWE Title, I'm nothing' and decides to take some much needed time off.

This event elevates the Big Gold Belt to the top spot. During this time, US and Intercontinental Championships also receive a boost and become more relevant, Cena will be gone and everything can just be better.

Obviously though it all ends with Cena coming back, challenging Henry to one last match with high stakes, Cena winning and then it's back to business as usual.

I hope Henry wins, but its Super Cena, so he will lose...

Re: John Cena vs. Mark Henry for the WWE Championship

I wouldn't be against Henry getting a run with the WWE Championship, but I really don't think it will happen here. He may have had a shot if he was playing the face shooting for that "one accolade" that he never achieved. But being a heel, doing the dastardly thing that he did on RAW, I just don't see him getting what he wants out of this. Add to that the fact that he is facing John Cena and the odds of him winning look even worse. Cena will look like the underdog, but will beat the odds and retain.

The segment Monday night was great. The angle is good. The match might even be good. But Henry won't win the WWE Championship.

Looking forward to this, should be a good match, expecting Cena to retain.

Re: John Cena vs. Mark Henry for the WWE Championship

If they're really serious about this Bryan push, then I'm starting to think Henry will win. I think WWE would rather a "monster" take the title off Cena than a "vanilla midget". And with the way they just love to portray Cena as a fucking underdog, that couldn't happen in a Cena/Bryan match. Give Henry a month run with the strap before he rides off. But knowing WWE, Cena will have the strap til 2018, & everybody else will just not matter.

Re: John Cena vs. Mark Henry for the WWE Championship

I would absolutely love for Henry to win this, setting up Bryan/Henry, but I don't see much chance in that happening. It would make sense however, since you wouldn't have your face of the company getting outpopped dramatically by the true underdog babyface at your next PPV.
