Default Wrestlemania 29's Lack of intro pyro

I know this is like a month late, but I was in attendance at WM 29 and kicking it off felt really weird. They put in the video with Hurricane Sandy and then the Wrestlemania video to open, but no pyro after that. I was really confused. They also did not do a nice 'American' song like somebody singing "America the Beautiful" or our National Anthem. Yeah they did have the Sandy video and it cut to the Guard guys waving the flags, but that seemed kinda shitty compared to previous Wrestlemanias. The whole start felt half-assed and that's why I still feel like this year's Wrestlemania had no....flair to it--basically bland. What's the reason behind these two crucial things that have been at Mania at least for the past like 10 years being cut? I mean, RAW hasn't had it's intro and pyro for weeks now, but come on, even if it's daytime I was expecting it to look like 24 a bit.

I kind of agree with you. I think they had Fighter Jets Fly over the stadium in Miami which was insane. This year we didn't get too much. I won't say that's why the show wasn't good but it didn't help matters.

They were saving the pyro for Diddy lol

Personally, I was disappointed that there was no "America the Beautiful" but great experience nonetheless

Yeah, I didn't mean that that made the show bad, but it just added to the un-spectacleness of WM. I still had a blast though--I'm glad I sat next to some awesome people. One guy started a "That's what I do" chant for Henry and I joined in , but it failed to gain masses.

As far as pyro for the Superstars and not any other, I always read it comes out of their pocket. So if the Superstars had much less pyro, that's on them.

They didn't have pyro at the beginning because it wouldn't look good in the daylight, same reason they didn't have pyro at the beginning of WrestleMania 28.

Wrestlemania 29 was so bad. It literally just felt like any other PPV. No backstage segments, no pyro, no hype. It was super boring and generally speaking you could of passed on it and not missed much.

It bothered me there wasn't a video package prior to the Cena/Rock II match. The one at WM28 was great.

It's because they were 4/5 earlier throughout the night
